For over a decade, we have lovingly restored this unique place.
First the garden, then the barns, to create a haven of peace.
Here, everything is designed to harmonize respect for the environment, a return to nature, and modern comfort.
You'll enjoy a setting where nature reigns: the sounds of wildlife, silent nights, pure air, and complete immersion in a preserved environment.
A place to recharge, detox, swim, go for adventures.

The space
You will spend your holiday in "La Funky Barn" conveniently located at a short walking distance from its 1000m2 garden and the river.

Our recently renovated barn of 140m2 blends eco-friendly materials, the charm of old stone walls, and modern comfort.
Inside, mostly furnished with flea-market finds, it exudes a cozy, retro-chic vibe.

The bright living room and well-equipped kitchen make cooking a joy.

The brand-new bedding ensures restful sleep.

Quality and thoughtfully designed spaces to create an atmosphere where every detail counts.

Ground floor:
- 1 bedroom with a 160x200 cm bed (sleeps 2)
- 1 bedroom with a 90x200 cm bed
- Versatile play-room
- 1 bathroom with shower
- 1 toilet

1st floor:
- Dinning living room and kitchen

2nd floor :
- 1 large bedroom with two double beds of 140 x200cm
- 1 bathrooms with 1 toilet
- A one person bed (futon) can be added on demand.

Small attached outdoor area: ideal for reading or enjoying a drink in nature

Note: the stairs do not have childproof barriers or railings for young children. We do recommend booking for families with small babies or children from 6 year old.

The garden, private to guests:
Just a short walking distance from the barn, our private garden is a place where time stands still and nature’s sounds fill the air.

In the garden you'll nap in a hammock, swim in the pool, prepare nice meal in the outdoor kitchen to dine under the pergola to the soothing sound of the river.

You can store food in a renovated stone shed and keep things cool in the fridge.

Large table for 8 to 10 guests

You'll also find an outdoor bathroom and separate toilet.

Possibility for the guests to 'glamp' in the garden.
The tipi shown in the pictures is not part of the rental. You are welcome to bring a tent or your own tipi.
We built terraces specially for Tentipi or other tipi brands. Reach out to check the size.

There is an above-ground pool and the river is a short walk away in the village.

The barn and the garden can be rented in combination of our Bebop studio (2 persons duplex) making it a comfortable holidays spot for 10 people.

Guest access
Guests can use the whole house.
Only a few storage areas remain private.

Walking & cycling
The Voie Verte / Passa Païs passes right by the village and is perfect for gentle walks or long rides.
Lac de Vésoles is close for a lovely 6–7 km loop, and stronger walkers can head for the Gorges d’Héric, the Mille Marches or the Caroux–Éspinouse trails.

The Orb and Jaur rivers offer swimming spots and cool water on warm days.

Villages & day trips
Several beautiful classified villages are within an hour’s drive, with small shops and good places to eat. And if you feel like a change of scenery, the Mediterranean is only about 1h15 away.

Other things to note
You will stay at somebody's place. Thanks for taking good care of it and respect it so that it can be shared for more happy holidays.

Bed linens and a light cleaning is included in the fee. We rely on our guests to dispose their garbage in the village's containers and leave the space tidy including bathroom, kitchen appliances and toilet.
