The residential area is a mile from the inner harbor/ stadium and street parking is easy. Nearby, enjoy walking in the park, dinner at Rooted or even see a puppet show. A well-stocked library offers great reading and the kitchenette has coffee, tea, and a light breakfast.
The space
It’s a great experience to stay in a bright urban apartment overlooking a lovely historic park near local attractions. The apartment is in a four-unit owner-occupied townhouse and neighbors are friendly. There are small concerts in the park on Sundays.

We live in the first / second floor rear Owner’s apartment. There are two apartments on the third floor. Guest also have access to the back garden shared space and washer and dryer is in laundry room in the basement (quarters and detergent are in the apartment green wardrobe).
Other things to note
We maintain a kind, relaxed environment.
All cleaning products are by Meyers and Bon Ami and are hypoallergenic. There are no plug-in fragrance dispensers and no chemicals sprayed in the garden.
Our black lab puppy, Kali, & cat, Blur, live with us in our apartment. It is a separate unit and they do not access the main stair and entry hall.

Neighborhood highlights
This is a quiet, urban neighborhood locale, with the former home of author H.L. Mencken just 2 doors away and a historic park with fountain and gazebo across the street. Zella's Pizza and a few local establishments are a few blocks east of the park at Hollins Market. Attend outdoor concerts and chamber music events late Sunday afternoon in the park during warmer weather. Also enjoy visiting a new farmer's market at the B&O Railroad museum on Wednesdays.

Where I went to school: Cranbrook Academy of Art
My work: Architect / Artist
I maintain a design practice, MANIFOLD design, where I fabricate sculptural installations, lighting and also work on small urban architectural restoration projects. I feel that living and working in downtown Baltimore is extremely rewarding and the community is open and welcoming.
As a guest, I am a considerate and neat. I hope to be out enjoying most of the day but really appreciate a pleasant space to relax and recuperate.
