With a huge family in tow to Malacca for the weekend, we wanted to find a apartment to stay as a whole family. Gen-Ji apartment met our needs and more. Here's our listing of the good, can-be-better, and interesting points of our stay there.
• clean and spacious
• basic needs met
• Cable TV available downstairs in the hall
• kitchen has no cooking facilities but comes with complimentary coffee and tea, sugar and creamier supply.
• bedrooms need more hooks to hang clothes as there is no wardrobe space
• wifi was fairly weak on the second floor so better connection on ground floor
• night market on Sat's
• some local stalls (nasi campur) within walking distance
A point to note is that driving to Gen-Ji and to malacca town would need GPS to get around. Else, the apartment is a really good choice for a large family like mine. :)
