This is a cozy and spacious room with balcony, desk, couch and a comfortable bed, very well located: near Reforma Ave, Alameda Central, Insurgentes, Zona Rosa, etc. Markets, bars, theater, metrobus and subway stations to move easily are all nearby.
This is an Art Deco building with a beautiful interior and courtyard, the apartment is big enough with original frames in high relief over its high ceilings, it has a pleasant living room with some pieces of art made by me and my artist friends, as well, the green of plants is a constant in the whole apartment. I have guidebooks of the city free to use.
The kitchen has all you need in the case you want to cook, coffee and tea are free all day long.
Ideal for travelers who look for artistic ambients and different kind of lodging or students who need a temporary place of residence.
Wifi, guidebooks, transport-card, kitchen, washing machine, earplugs if needed and cleaning service twice-three a month are included in the price of the room.
I speak English, French, Italian fluently and of course Spanish. I can recommend you interested places in the city, especially those related to art and culture.
By the way, I'm a very open-minded person, I enjoy having at my place easy-going and friendly people, I like to have chats about arts, travels, languages and multi-cultures, likewise, this is a gay friendly place, I point this out because I had a bad experience with a guest and I would not like to get it again, so cool, creative, affable and broad-minded people are welcome!
We had good communication with Elias prior to arriving in DF, but once we were there, he did not seem very interested in talking with us. The room was fine, if bare bones, but it overlooks a commercial street with heavy and loud traffic on weekday mornings. Elias had a friend over several times who smoked and it made the room unbearably smokey. On the Friday night we were staying there we went to sleep around 1:30 AM, and were woken up around 3:15 by Elias arriving home with friends who proceeded to have a loud, drunken and smokey party. I finally went out to ask them to be quiet around 5 and they did not leave or quiet down until after 5:30 AM. My fiance had taken ill with food poisoning and really needed to sleep so she stayed in bed all of Saturday and missed a day of our planned activities. If she was feeling better we might have left to go to another hotel or airbnb because we were extremely unhappy with the situation. Elias finally apologized to us on Sunday but we were not happy and had a very different experience than most of the reviewers seemed to. I would not recommend staying here.
Elias's apartment is in a fantastic location in a really cool old building with very high ceilings. The artwork on his walls are his own pieces and they are cool and impressive. The accommodations are clean and spacious. Elias went waaay above and beyond with helping us. We drove our camper to MX and he arranged a protected parking around the corner from his place. He also allowed us to bring our bicycles into his apartment. He give us extensive details on the neighborhood and the subway system. I couldn't recommend it more.
Elias is a very good host and made my stay very comfortable. The room is tastefully decorated and spacious in a good part of the city. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone coming to Mexico City.
It was very pleasant to stay with Elías! We had interesting conversations and the house has an artistic interior. Thanks a lot for welcoming us for the two nights Elías!
We had a great stay with Elias in Mexico City. Room was really spacious and comfortable. Everything we needed was there, especially the amazing chats and advice we received from Elias, thanks so much for having us!
Great location; close to subway, market and various priced places to eat. The host is punctual, organized and helpful. The stay was worth every dollar.
We had an incredible time at Elías's apartment—it's a terrific location, super-close to the subway and very central in the city, and Elías was an awesome host. Highly recommended!
I had to arrive after midnight due to a late flight and Elias had someone waiting to receive me and answer any questions I might have. The room is very well located, 2 blocks from a Metro station. Thank you Elias for your hospitality.
Everything was great and just like in the description. The House and Appartement are very nice and in a very convenient location for exploring the city. Thank you Elias!
