  • Our stay in New York was memorable and perfect thanks to Amia. The apartment was exactly as listed and could not have been in a better location for subway travel and access to quick bites. The 24 hour natural foods store kiddy corner to the apartment is worth the location by itself. The apartment is on the top floor and only stair access so not good for anyone who does want to climb up stairs each day. We had a little trouble receiving the key when we arrived but Amia quickly resolved the issue. We would absolutely stay here for our next NYC excursion!

  • Amia was a wonderful host. The key pick-up was as planned and only a block from the front door. The apt. was probably the biggest I've stayed in while in NY. We wanted for nothing. The neighborhood was totally fine. I had never ventured past the Grand stop on the L so I didn't know what to expect. It was great to find some new things. The vegan doughnuts around the corner were so yummy my daughter brought some home with her. brooklynMac was great too. Being a block from the train was the best! I go to NY every year or two and this will be the first place I check in the future.

  • I recently had a week at Amia's apartment. It was really great. When I arrived everything had been professionally cleaned and it was in a nice building. The Montrose L was 2 blocks away which meant it was super easy to shoot into Union Square. I would definitely stay here again.

  • Amia's flat was well located and very nice. It is big enough to welcome 5-6 people. In addition Amia had always been helpful, telling us all the good places to go. Amia definitely helped us to have an amazing time in New York. If I'd be back in New York I'd choose this appartment again.

  • Amia's place was just delightful! Excellent location, clean, and spacious. The check-in process was really easy and her recommendations were great. I love the little grocery store across the street as well; kombucha for days.

  • Our trip was amazing and the place provided was exactly like the photos presented. We enjoyed the spacious design and cleanliness of the Williamsburg apartment. It also was very close to the L subway, which made traveling into the city so convenient. Amia was very helpful with information as well as helping us check in earlier than planned. I would suggest to those who notice the hissing sound from the radiator in the one room to close closet and use the box fan for white noise, it really does help with sounds outside as well.

  • Me and my brother stayed here for 4 nights and we had a wonderful time. The apartment is spacious, so we didn't get under each others feet, clean and comfortable. Most importantly a subway stop which goes into Manhattan is right around the corner, opposite a great donut place. We were able to arrange flexible check-out which really helped for our late flight home on the last day. Amia was contactable before and during our stay. She also gave us a great list of places to try in the area. I would really recommend this apartment and staying in Williamsburg generally, if you don't want to stay in Manhattan. It has great links to Manhattan, but Williamsburg is a great place to explore itself.

  • Everything worked fine, and very good information before arrival. A fine base for travelers.

  • The apartment is exactly how it looks in the pictures and how Amia says on the description, the subway is right around the corner, and it takes you to most places in downtown and midtown manhattan in 30 minutes, really easy.
We didn´t meet Amia but she helped out with all our needs.
The only negative thing about this apartment I can think of were the heaters, that were really loud making a sizzling noise every once in a while and my friends didn´t have any problem sleeping but I used earplugs.
The neighborhood was awesome, loved the bedford area that is like a 15 minutes walk from the apartment and Williamsburg as a whole, with lots of foodie places, live alternative music bars, lots of nice concerts at the music hall of williamsburg and way lower prices than manhattan!!
Would come back for sure! Thanks Amia!

  • Amia's apartment was such a great place to stay at! It was a well presented and clearly maintained home, with no issues! The location is a 2 minute walk to the subway and the area had all that we needed.

About
Hi! My name is Amia. I am a jewelry designer and work in the arts. I've been traveling since I was a kid and love to visit new places and meet new people. Since joining AirBnb I have had a great experience being a host to people from all over the world at my lovely Brooklyn apartment. It has been my pleasure making sure my guests have a wonderful time while they're visiting New York City, and I try to accommodate everyone as best as I possible can. I love art, I love music, I love good food and good company. So, if you have any questions about the neighborhood (restaurants, bars, parks, etc) please feel free to ask! I can't wait to share my apartment with you!
