Our neighborhood is a quiet residential area within East Williamsburg. Just one or two stops on the subway and you can brunch and bike away the day and lounge and drink away the night in Williamsburg's infinitely hip warehouse-turned-loft Brooklyn neighborhood. Williamsburg is a food, drink, and music lover’s paradise. This ultra-trendy neighborhood completes its super cool repertoire with alternative-looking street art and two-story murals. Ask me for my list of neighborhood favorites!
The Montrose L subway stop is just 1 block away. You can take this to other areas within Williamsburg (Bedford Stop is a 5 minute ride on the subway) or straight to Union Square (less than 15 minutes away). From Union Square you can easily access all of Manhattan (Times Square, MoMA, World Trade Center are all 30 min away by subway).
Please shut the windows and lock the door when you are not in the apartment.
If you have booked for longer than 5 days, please water the plants.
Please do NOT flush feminine products, paper towel, napkins, etc. down the toilet. The only thing that can be flushed is toilet paper.
Please try and turn off the lights and the air conditioning when you are not in the apartment to help conserve energy.
If you need anything at all or if there is anything that I can do or provide to make you stay more enjoyable - do not hesitate to ask. I am happy to accomodate you!
And most importantly, have a wonderful time!!!
We were looking to experience Brooklyn as residents would, and Amia's place was perfect for this in a neighborhood with everything we were looking for! Within a short walk we found excellent bagels, pizza, shopping, the subway, great bars & pubs and plenty of culture. Nothing touristy here. We always felt safe in the apartment and in the neighborhood. As I expect in any urban area there is plenty of street noise and thin walls but this is probably the case at any apartment in the city. Was clean and pleasant and we would not hesitate to stay again. Thank you Amia!
Amia was really organised and gave us all the information we needed to have a great stay in New York! It was the coldest weekend in 20 years yet we were comfortable and warm in the flat. So I can recommend this place for winter trips. It was clean and spacious and a good location to explore Williamsburg and very close to Roberta's pizza place which was a highlight of our trip.
Fantastic spot at fantastic price. No complaints, couldn't hear any neighbors at all (that's not always the case in NYC), and steps to the L train to shoot train into midtown NYC. Would stay again without hesitation!
Great location, overall we enjoyed our visit. There were however a few small maintenance issues which didn't overly affect our stay, but they were somewhat inconvenient. In spite of having been advised of the problem and promising us they'd have someone out to fix the situation, (bathroom door was broken and wouldn't close) the issue was not resolved while we were there. Nevertheless we still took full advantage of this apartments great neighbourhood and super convenient access to the subway. We would recommend this property.

My name is Amia. I am a filmmaker and work in the arts. I've been traveling since I was a kid and love to visit new places and meet new people. Since joining AirBnb I have had a great experience being a host to people from all over the world at my lovely Brooklyn apartment. It has been my pleasure making sure my guests have a wonderful time while they're visiting New York City, and I try to accommodate everyone as best as I possible can.
I love art, I love music, I love good food and good company. So, if you have any questions about the neighborhood (restaurants, bars, parks, etc) please feel free to ask!
I can't wait to share my apartment with you!
