Getting Around in Philly
It's super easy to get around in Philadelphia. Public transit - both the bus and subway- is conveniently located near our home.
If you plan to arrive to Philadelphia on megabus, bolt bus, or Amtrak you will be arriving into 30th Street Station in Philadelphia. The easiest way to go from 30th Street Station to our home would be to take a cab - it should be around $10. Public transportation is also convenient you can use the blue subway line headed east and take it to city hall. Then at the city hall stop there is a free interchange to the orange subway line. Take this line north to the spring garden stop. We're only a couple of blocks away from there!
Parking in our neighborhood is generally a breeze. There's a lot of on - street parking in our neighborhood right by the house. Just make sure that you pay attention to the signs when you park; some of the spots have time limits ( like 2 hours during the day) but there are many spots with no limits at all!

Becky and Oscar are really kind and helpful to their guests. They even come to their home from work because of the problem I had about the keys. They are really hospitable too. Also, the room is neat and well furnished. Will definitely come back again if I have a chance to visit Philly one more time!
Two wonderful hosts, friendly and interesting. And a beautiful apartment with a deck.
This was my first Airbnb experience, and I cannot imagine it being better. Becky and Oscar were extremely accommodating, allowing me to check-in two hours early on very short notice. My room was perfect and the house was immaculate! Each day, Becky and Oscar had coffee ready and were willing to sit down and chat before we went on our separate ways. The location was also great, being walking distance from the convention center. Overall, it was a great experience!
We had a great time staying with Becky and Oscar. Their home is lovely and they made us feel very welcome. They recommended excellent things for us to see and do on our one day in Philadelphia and we would definitely encourage anyone to stay with them!
Becky and Oscar were amazing hosts. Their apartment was comfortable and wonderfully located in a vibrant area of the city. We acted on most of their suggestions of what to see and do and as a result had an amazing time in Philadelphia. Thank you Becky and Oscar.
Had a lovely experience, the only thing was the room was a bit too small for the two of us for seven days, however this was our own doing! Apart from that our stay was fantastic!

About the Host, Becky And Oscar
We are life-long learners and educators. We're very laid back and respect other people's privacy, but we're also very happy to give you advice during your stay (combined we've got about 30 years living in the Philly area). In the summer, we love to garden and spend time on our patio, filled with flowers and fresh herbs. We love Fairmount Park, local (and international) museums, and enjoy a good book. Our place is perfect for someone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay while in Philly - it's the best choice for any traveler!
