Getting Around in Philly
It's super easy to get around in Philadelphia. Public transit - both the bus and subway- is conveniently located near our home.
If you plan to arrive to Philadelphia on megabus, bolt bus, or Amtrak you will be arriving into 30th Street Station in Philadelphia. The easiest way to go from 30th Street Station to our home would be to take a cab - it should be around $10. Public transportation is also convenient you can use the blue subway line headed east and take it to city hall. Then at the city hall stop there is a free interchange to the orange subway line. Take this line north to the spring garden stop. We're only a couple of blocks away from there!
Parking in our neighborhood is generally a breeze. There's a lot of on - street parking in our neighborhood right by the house. Just make sure that you pay attention to the signs when you park; some of the spots have time limits ( like 2 hours during the day) but there are many spots with no limits at all!

Becky and Oscar were the perfect hosts. They are kind, and conversational. The apartment is super clean and comfortable, located in one of the hippest neighborhoods in Philly, and close to everything! They are my first choice in Philadelphia!
Oscar and Becky were very hospitable, and very friendly. Their home was in a fantastic location, 15 min walk to the city. The room was lovely and light. With suitcases, it was a bit hard carrying up the 2 flights of stairs, but on arrival Oscar helped us. Use of the kitchen was a great bonus. Would have no trouble recommending this home.
Oscar and Becky have been the loveliest of hosts during my stay in the city. They were really engaging and talkative, while also respecting my own privacy and the most delightful of couples. Their apartment is incredibly clean and hospitable, especially lovely coming back to after a whole day out in the city of Philly. There are good food places around the apartment too, and they are more than happy to provide recommendations too. I'd really want to stay with them again if I do stop by the city again.
Oscar and Becky have a great place that is very welcoming. The apartment is very clean and in a great location. Perhaps most importantly, Becky and Oscar are very welcoming people, which definitely contributed to the great experience we had in Philadelphia.
I did not get to meet Becky and Oscar during my brief stay in Philly, but based on their apartment, they are probably two of the coolest people in Philly. Their place is in a nice neighborhood and is easy to get to. They were quick to respond to my messages and had left keys so I could get in when they weren't home. Their apartment is absolutely adorable, and the room was perfect for me and my girlfriend. All of this for a super cheap price. I would definitely stay here again during future visits to Philly.

About the Host, Becky And Oscar
We are life-long learners and educators. We're very laid back and respect other people's privacy, but we're also very happy to give you advice during your stay (combined we've got about 30 years living in the Philly area). In the summer, we love to garden and spend time on our patio, filled with flowers and fresh herbs. We love Fairmount Park, local (and international) museums, and enjoy a good book. Our place is perfect for someone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay while in Philly - it's the best choice for any traveler!
