Welcome to my wunderbaren Apartments!

I’m Herr Schneider and let two typical Berlin vintage apartments. Beautiful wooden floors, old doors, and 3,50m high ceilings. Take a look by yourself: aren't they beautiful?

The apartments are located in a unique Berlin neighbourhood. It is lively but very relaxed and offers the distinctively bohemian vibe Prenzlauer Berg has become famous for. The public transport connection is excellent, as it is situated close to the S- and U-Bahn Station Schönhauser Allee. It is safe at day and night.
The apartments are quietly placed on the 4th floor in a side wing facing the courtyard; even with the windows open you will hear no traffic noise. Sonnenburger Strasse anyhow is a less frequented street, lined with cherry trees and mainly used by residents.

The apartments are stylish but minimally furnished. I have avoided decoration so you have more room at your disposal.

The apartment is for 2 people, a third person is possible.
The large double bed 180 x 200 can be divided into two single beds. Of course, bed linen and towels are included.
The big chair can be transformed into an extra bed for a 3. person.

A sitting area and a small desk offer a normal living space because no one wants to spend all their time in bed. Wi-Fi and TV are free of charge.

Body care
The bathrooms are completely new, nice and (website hidden)
The kitchen offers space for 3 to 4 people and provides everything to cook properly.
A French press and an espresso maker are available for coffee . The refrigerator has got a freezer and the toaster even has got a frame to crisp rolls.

The apartments are equipped with home appliances of class A efficiency or better and provided with green electricity by Lichtblick. The heater is a central gas heating.

Smoking in the home is Blitzkrieg-böseböse and you risk life and limb. To say it clearly: it is absolutely prohibited.

The Neighborhood

The neighbouring areas are in walking distance: the famous Kastanienallee in a quarter of an hour, less known but also vibrant Stargarder Strasse in 5 minutes. A walk to the Mauerpark with its flea market and Karaoke show takes 10 minutes.

Getting Around

Public transport
Public transport in Berlin is exellent. Easy, quick and safe.

The apartments connection to the public transport network is brilliant. The Station Schönhauser Allee is just a 300m walk. You easily reach City Centre East and West. To Alexanderplatz it is 8 Minutes, to Museumsinsel 12.
Except S-Bahn and U-Bahn connection, there is also a tram going down Kastanienallee to Hackischer Markt and Friedrichstrasse. A night bus brings you home in the late night and early morning hours, even on Sunday/Monday.
The S-Bahn Circle-line runs round Berlin at lightning speed . Within 17 minutes you can reach Messe Nord/ICC, in a short half-hour you are at the other side of Berlin and in 50 min in Potsdam and Sanssouci.

The Apartments are easy to reach by car too. At first by autobahn, then B96.
Free parking space can be found 200 meters away, paid parking in front of the house.

House Rules

Die Wohnungen sind mit Geräten der Effizienzklasse A oder besser ausgestattet und werden mit Ökostrom der Firma Lichtblick versorgt. Die Heizung ist eine zentrale Gasheizterme.

Ich habe also alles vorbereitet um einen verantwortungsvoller Umgang mit Energie und Ressourcen möglich zu machen, hilf mit ihn zu realisieren: Vor dem Verlassen der Wohnung löschebitte das Licht und schliesse die Fenster und die Wasserhähne. Während der Heizperiode lüfte bitte nicht mit gekippten Fenstern. Halte die Fenster geschlossen und lüfte mit 10 minütigen Stosslüftungen.

Rauchen in der Wohnung ist böseböse und gefährdet Leib und Leben. Um es deutlich zu sagen: Es ist absolut verboten. Bedenke: Nachfolgende Nichtraucher riechen alten Zigarettenrauch sofort und fühlen sich durch gestört.

Respektvolles Verhalten im Haus und Wohnung sollte eigentlich eine Selbstverständichkeit sein. Lese dazu aber bitte trotzdem gerne den Abschnitt 6 der ABG.

Bei Auszug mache bitte die Küche sauber, wasche Geschirr und Töpfe ab, trage den Müll in die Tonnen und hinterlassen die Wohnung in einem sauberen und aufgeräumten Zustand.
Willst du vor deiner Abreise nicht mehr abwaschen willst oder keine Zeit dazu hast, hinterlasse bitte einen angemessenen Beitrag zwischen 10€ und 20€ für das Reinigungspersonal.
