Really great little cabin! The pictures make the place look a lot large than in actuality . Very small town, nice to get away from Reykjavik and relax in a quite town. Favorite place I stayed during my entire trip in Iceland.
The cabin is very nice, good value for money and equipped with all the amenities that one would need. We enjoyed our 2 nights there very much.
Greta is also very helpful and saw to our needs. Thanks for everything!
We did not see any northern lights during our stay. This means that we will have to come back to Iceland. :)
Great cottage on a great location. Very cozy and tidy. Nice owner who lives just in the front. Everytime again
Really cute place that was cozy and in a cool location. Unfortunately we never received the linens due to our host's husband being sick. We did enjoy our stay though otherwise, as there is a nice hiking trail right behind the cabins.
We unfortunately did not make it to the cabin because of a crazy storm (several people warned us not to travel because of record breaking winds), but Gunnar & Greta were very responsive and helpful in all communications.
This cabin is excellent. I was there all alone and everything was very tidy and neat. The host's directions were easy to follow and I found it quickly and easily. The night I was there a huge wind storm came through I felt very safe inside. I hope to come back some day and stay again!
Charming cabin 1 is a great place to stay. The hosts were not there, but were quick to answer any questions or give advice via email. Skagastrond is a nice little town with a great restrauaunt, and beautiful views of the mountains and sea. Easy travel to nearby towns or site seeing locations. Hiking is nearby as well.
