Good to know: the beginning of Schiltigheim is located closer to the center of Strasbourg Strasbourg as some other districts ( Orangerie Park pottery, Roberstau Koenigshoffen , Neuhof , even the end of Neudorf ) and is much better served by the network bus!

By train , the connection from the station is easily done by bus. Within 10 minutes you can reach the train station and discover Colmar , Obernai, Colmar ...

About us , we are a couple of teachers. We traveled a lot and we did a lot of CS . We love our region , our country and we want to show it to travelers . We have a little baby, who's very calm normally. He don't sleep at the same floor as you, so you won't hear him.
For us , the journey is an exchange , a meeting between two cultures. By renting this room, we hope to have time to take a coffee, chat with you or just make you feel good.
We know the city and have at our disposal plans and guides to facilitate your trip and enjoy the best of Strasbourg and its environs. If available, Guillaume knows the history of the cathedral and may you discover .
We speak Spanish and English ( but a little worse than Spanish ... ) .
We have indicated that we do not accept smokers. However, if you agree to smoke in the courtyard of the building, you are welcome!
Very nice apartment, in a quiet and cool location. Very close to the centre of Strasbourg, and with a very comfy bed. Laura and her husband were really kind, waiting for our late check in. Recommended!
Laura and her family really welcomed us very warmly. Laura even picked us up because we were a bit lost in Strasbourg. The room is beautiful and they provided us with everything we needed for our little daugther. Their flat is a wonderful place to stay; it is in a calm neigbourhood and such a nicely decorated flat! So: coming to Strasbourg, Lauras place is a must-stay :)
A very positive and pleasant experience! I just came back from a three nights stay at Laura’s and Guillaume’s house. They are very positive, friendly and welcoming couple trying to accommodate all your needs / requirements. The description in their profile and instructions provided are suitable and sufficient. The room has information leaflets and brochures that could be used for local navigation and good dining places. Location of the apartment is also nice as you can reach any part of the city Strasbourg in 20-30 minutes (bus/tram). I used bus and tram to reach the European institutions and it took me less than 30 minutes. The room is pretty big/spacious and comfortable and the apartment in general is very nice and warm. I highly recommend staying at Laura’s and Guillaume’s as they are very nice and easy going couple and staying at their home is very pleasant and relaxing.
I really appreciated the long and detailed description of the apartment and the host! This way you know what you are booking and who is your host and you feel comfortable. The appartment was just like in the description, decorated in a nice way, I really feel that Alsaciens pay a lot of attention to details! Im grateful to the hosts for a warm welcoming. I was traveling alone for work and I must admit that this was the place I needed: peaceful, comfortable for sleeping, good atmosphere and nice apartment. The apartment is close to the bus line that takes you directly to the city center. The only thing that made me a bit uncomfortable was to go back alone by bus during evening hours, so I took a taxi and paid 15 EUR. Probably you can get cheaper but this was the one I took in the street. If you are travelling by bus in the morning to the European Parliament, you will probably need 30 min by bus, but it is ok because bus takes you directly almost in front of the EP and then on the way you can admire some nice places like Place de la Republique. Close to the apartment there is a pizza place, if you hungry at night, a night shop and in the morning you can get delicious pastry in the original Alsace bakery.
Great stay. The apartment is a cosy, clean and warm place. The hosts are incredibly helpful and left many maps and brochures. Clean, spacious and well lit bedroom, comfortable bed. Clean bathroom and kitchen, which we could use at any time. Great to relax and visit the city. Recommend it hands on
I really enjoyed my stay in Laura's place. Laura is super friendly and helpful. The house is very nice, it has everything you need (kitchen, bathroom, etc). I think Laura's a perfect host, this place is highly recommended!
Laura and Guillaume were the perfect hosts - sincere, polite, friendly people that one can only hope to meet again sometime. The flat, freshly self-renovated with care and an awful amount of work, was nice, clean, very light, and a place I myself would enjoy living in. The bus is just down the street (app. 4-5min) and its about 4 stops till city center. We had no problem with transportation and even walked on a sunny day. The stay was very nice, thanks again for the hospitality!

About the Host, Laura
