Hidden on a mountain ridge ideal for romantic getaways, Cabin in the Clouds offers a refuge from the stress of modern life. Situated at 1,450 meters above sea level, and on the border of 3,000 hectares of protected forest, the Cabin is ideal for nature lovers while still providing luxurious amenities. With two bedrooms it can accommodate two couples or a family of four, and offers spectacular views of Lakes Beratan and Buyan, along with Handara Golf Course.

The space
Cabin in the Clouds is a luxurious mountain retreat crafted to exist in harmony with the extensive forest and wildlife. With two bedrooms it's ideal either for a small family or two couples. However, please note that there is one bathroom shared among the two bedrooms. The beds are king-sized with goose down pillows, and 400 tread count sheets.

There's a full size kitchen that includes a Nespresso coffee machine, a toaster and kettle by Smeg, a microwave, and induction stove top.

The cabin has an extensive deck with half circle sofa and fire pit and lounge chairs and lounge bean bags.

Guest access
Guests can access the entire 2-bedroom cabin. Please note, that on the second floor there is a linen closet that our housekeeping staff uses and is normally locked.

Other things to note
Please note that the cabin is about 60 meters above the road. There are about 60 stairs to climb up, and our staff will help to carry your luggage. However, the view once you’re on the large deck is well worth the climb, offering one of Bali’s best panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and lakes. For people with limited mobility, we don’t recommend this cabin. But, we also own a nearby larger four bedroom cabin with the lower floor on the ground floor, called Bedugul Mountain Chalet.

Also, this cabin borders protected forest and there is a troop of monkeys that live nearby. These monkeys, unlike those found at Ubud's Monkey Forest are afraid of humans. However, if leaving the Cabin, please close and lock all windows and doors. Additionally, you should never feed these monkeys nor approach them up close.

A short walk up the ridge trail takes you to a forest temple and our staff can guide you to the temple.
