Nela and Luksa were AMAZING! One of the best Airbnb experiences we have had so far on our travels. Luksa picked us up late at night from the bus station and they had a small snack waiting for us when we arrived. The apartment was huge, very clean, had a stunning view from the terrace, and was very easy to get to by bus from the old town. They made sure we knew how to use the bus, and sat down with us to go over the map along with all of the major sights, how to avoid crowds/heat, and recommendations for restaurants. We also had dinner with them one night and it was a delight to get to know them. Thanks!
The perfect place! We had a fantastic stay in this apartment. We enjoyed breakfast every morning at the wonderful terasse after taking a morning swim just at the end of the stairs. Communication was very good and Nela and her husband were great hosts, very helpful, but at the same time discrete. We were also very happy about the location, which is a away from all the fuzz around old town, but still easy to get to the city center. I can only give this place my very best recommendations!
Nela and her family were very welcoming and offered great suggestions on what to do and where to eat. The apartment was exactly as described and the view from the private terrace can't be beat! Thanks so much for making our first stop in Croatia so wonderful!
Nela was an incredible host and her apartment "Dreams come true" was truly a dream come true. Upon arrival, her husband greeted us and drove us to the apartment. He welcomed us with some delicious treats and gave us instructions about the amenities and helpful hints about transportation. Communication with both Nela and her husband was a breeze. The apartment itself is very beautiful and a nice location if you would like to stay a bit outside of the city. It's ~15- 20 minute bus ride to the old town, but please be advised that during high season, these buses do get very crowded and it may take longer. I do, however, very highly recommend staying here if you have a long, leisurely few days in Dubrovnik. The apartment is clean, spacious, and very beautiful. The terrace is a great treat during the day and at night. I would recommend this apartment to everyone considering it and I would stay here again, without hesitation, on future visits to Dubrovnik. Thank you for everything, Nela! You are the best host :)
Nela and Luksa's place is tastefully renovated (newer than these pictures) and is very comfortable.
Luksa was kind to wait at the bus station for me even though it was late due a delayed flight. He showed me through the apartment then explained the buses and where to visit in Old Town.
I had fantastic communication from Nela throughout. The water was out one morning and she messaged me immediately about it.
Nela also left cake, fruit and wine for me on arrival!
Lovely hosts, amazing view and great apartment. I wish I stayed longer (but they're too busy!)
One thing to note: as with the rest of Dubrovnik there are a lot of stairs to get to the apartment, no problem with a backpack but it would be tricky with a suitcase. But the stairs are worth the view!
Nela's apartment was just perfect for my partner and I. The location was just right, once we found it, (a little hard to find) quiet location just out of town away from the hustle and bustle. It was clean new, spacious and very well equipped, even better than the pictures. The view from Nela's apartment was just amazing, we would sit out on the terrace and eat our meals and gaze at the amazing view. Nela was the perfect host, we got lost getting there and she had 1/2 the town out looking for us, she was so concerned. Nela had made a plater of food for us for our arrival, and carried my heavy suitcase all the way up the stairs, (there are a lot of stairs)
We really loved it there and would definitely stay again.

I can't say enough great things about this stay! If you are looking for a lovely quiet place to unwind with a glass of wine at the end of the day but someplace that's in close and easy proximity to Old Town this is the place - it's only 10 mins away and the bus stop is just across the street. Also, Nela was such a lovely host and very communicative - you just want to be her best friend. There's also a great restaurant right next door, it's a great place to watch the sunset over the river.
There are a number of steps to get to the home, but it's 100% worth it:)
