Interaction with Guests
We are both busy professionals so are often at work, but fortunately we work nearby and will be able to provide you with all necessary information regarding the house, Fairmount, and Philadelphia in general. We are lifelong Philadelphians (and major foodies!) so are always willing to offer great restaurant recommendations. We are here to help out with any question or concern you may have!
Just blocks north of Center City / Rittenhouse, Fairmount is a residential oasis in an urban setting. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, but the hustle and bustle of the city is easily accessible by public transportation, cab, or car.
We are within walking distance to Fairmount Park and its running trails (alongside the Schuylkill River).
We are excited to give recommendations for local restaurants, museums, parks, and other attractions. Don't be shy - just ask!

Our experience in Philadelphia at Joseph's home exceeded my expectations. Their home was very cozy and welcoming. The neighborhood also had a cozy feel to it. The best part of the stay was their two cats who were the most friendliest cats you'll ever meet. The home was very clean and the hot tub in the back yard was a definite plus.
The place is great. Super clean, nice neighborhood, adorable cats. Joe is great host and helped us a lot.
We were greeted warmly by those living in the house. The two cats are extremely easy to get along with as was the dog. Everything was clean and we lacked nothing. We like the Fairmont Community which has lots of good restaurants and shops. Close proximity to the museum district is a real benefit too.
This was the best Airbnb we have stayed at so far. Super clean, great neighborhood, and the hosts were extremity hospitable. Definitely going back. Thanks guys (and Jackie)!
Joseph + Brady are great host! They are informative about places and where to take train outside of the city. The location is a nice, quiet residential neighborhood. There is a bus around the corner that takes you to the city centre and also a nice 10-15 minute walk to the Museum of Art. The place is clean but if you stay there you need to be conscious to close bedroom or bathroom door at all time after use so that the cats will not go inside.
Brady was our host and really wonderful, both helpful and laid back so we had all the space we needed. The room was very pleasant and clean and quiet, even with the windows open. The location is PERFECT! A walk to the park, the Art Museum, great neighborhood restaurants. Thank You!
I was very happy about my stay here. Joseph and Brady are very friendly, welcoming and fun hosts. I stayed in one of the two rooms they rent out occasionally for five nights. It had everything I needed and was cozy. The rest of the house is very comfortable as well and in a nice neighborhood. With bus 48 it’s easy and quick to get to downtown.

I am a recent law school graduate from Philadelphia who has lived in California, Iowa, DC and now back in Philly. I love to travel when I'm not working and enjoy taking long runs and swims (when I have time.) And when I'm not working at the law firm, I enjoy curling up with a great novel.
