We were looking for a weekend filled with the quiet serenity of New England charm. Arte Farm did not disappoint. Pam was a gracious and accomodating host to us. She gave us amazing recommendations of local sights. The house itself was cozy and beautiful. We will definitely be returning for a visit again.

Pam's house is a beautifully decorated house with a stunning garden. Pam had to be somewhere in town for a certain time, but still took time to show me my room, which made me feel very settled. The room was very spacious and the filter jug of water was a thoughtful touch. Pam had also prepared information on places to go and places to eat, together with local map of Portsmouth. Breakfast both mornings I was there was lovely and it was great to be able to chat with Pam and also use her local knowledge to help plan my day. The location is great for the main roads, and it's a short car ride into Portsmouth, but there is plenty of space for parking at the house. This is a great place to stay.

Pam made me feel welcome from the minute we started texting to coordinate my arrival at her lovely home. She was there to greet me when I arrived and gave me the tour of her home. The accommodation matched the description on Air BnB well. The room was comfortable, plenty of books to read, bathroom was huge (!!), livingroom and diningroom and kitchen were spacious. I got to know the other guest very well and only wish I would have got to spend more time with Pam and her daughter. I will definitely be returning soon!

I've used air bnb a few times but Pam was definitely the best host I've had so far! The house is adorable, walking distance to both Kittery and Portsmouth, with a beautiful backyard. My room was even bigger than it looked in the photos so that was neat too! It is clear that Pam goes out of her way to make sure everyone enjoys their stay. She has a packet she made and a bunch of brochures about best restaurants and things to do around town. I was only there one night but it felt so comfortable right away and I definitely plan on returning and staying with her again in the future. I was on my way to portland and she even compiled a list of cool things in portland for me to check out! Also, she makes breakfast for everyone in the morning but I had to hit the road very early so she packed me breakfast to go and left it out for me. She is such a sweet lady and I would highly recommend staying with her! Definitely one of the highlights of my trip :)

The host was very welcoming and the breakfast was filling, healthy and great tasting. We had some interesting conversations too. The woodland path out back was a welcoming part of it's charm with it's artsy sculptures.

My boyfriend and I stayed with Pam on a trip through Maine and New Hampshire. Her home was idyllic, perfect for a romantic getaway. Her experience as a host really showed - she has lots of great recommendations for places to visit, eat, and shop (she even gave us a printed list of things to do around the area). The rooms were extremely clean and cozy, hotel quality with a charming, at-home feel. She was a wonderful host!

I enjoy people and learning what makes you unique. I have traveled extensively and open to cultural differences. I travel for service work to Nicaragua twice a year, and consulted to the Special Ed directors of Belize for 2 years. Upon their request I wrote them a manual for the Deaf and hard of hearing. This manual is used in their classrooms around the country. My motto is "Kindness, kindness, kindness". I look forward to welcoming you into my home where you will become part of our family.

Looking for a special spa getaway? Like to learn how to live/cook with no gluten or no dairy? I can share a farm to table lifestyle with you..

Airbnb is a fantastic cultural and community building concept that has enriched my life endlessly. I look forward to knowing you and learning from you.
