Anna is a very friendly and welcoming host, helpful and easy to get on with. The room is as described, spacious comfortable and quiet. The apartment as a whole is very tastefully furnished. The shower in particular is excellent. The street is quiet with a really good deli on the corner. The Brooklyn Heights area is delightful, with lots of amenities, and offers easy access to other parts of New York. We had a lovely time and would strongly recommend it.
We had an absolutely wonderful time staying with Anna. This was my mother's first time in USA and I was worried how she would feel, but Anna made her feel right at home. The bedroom was lovely, and the neighborhood was great. Anna was communicative, understanding, caring and a delight to stay with. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
Anna is a lovely hostess and we felt comfortable with her. We plan to
be in Brooklyn Heights at least two more times this year. Airbnb is a
fantastic idea, we will check in as we make other arrangements for
I had a great experience staying at Anna's. She is very friendly and non-intrusive. The extra air bed made it even better. Room is clean, bright and inviting. The neighbourhood is a convenient spot. It was minutes away from subway station that took me to most places I wanted to visit in Manhattan. It was also a few steps away from the East River over looking Manhattan. A walk along the water front was refreshing and peaceful. Brooklyn bridge is about 20 min away by walking and walking into Manhattan via the bridge was a treat. I didn't have the opportunity to try the restaurants in the area but there were many in convenient locations. Parking is free on the street. It is a residential area so parking can be a bit tight but available, if not right next the building. Overall positive experience and would recommend it to a friend.
Really nice place. In an old brown stone setting. Anna is really a wonderful host. On the same block there are a local store, two restaurants, a Laundromat. More shopping and dining within a short walk. Anna's place is about three blocks from the East River. This is a beautiful walk up to the Dumbo area along the river. It has a fabulous view of New York City water front from here.

About the Host, Anna
Hello, I'm Anna!
I am a young professional who traveled the world for my job and not so long ago settled into NYC. I work very long hours in Downtown Manhattan and absolutely adore coming back to the peaceful Brooklyn Heights in the evening. I love walking around and absorbing the architecture of the Heights, I discover sth new each time! I spend a lot of my free time in Brooklyn Bridge Park with its fantastic views of Manhattan, sports facilities, barbecue spots (the list is long), biking around Brooklyn and discovering new cafes, eateries, taking pictures etc. I feel very privileged to live in one of the best neighborhoods in NYC and looking forward to sharing it with you!
