This house has it all: a short drive from the city and airport of Omaha, good quality and tastefully decorated room and bathroom, our own roof terrace with a view over the river, in a large garden with wildlife, and a forest with many hikes. A fabulous way to spend our last two days of vacation in Nebraska.
Debra and Richard are very friendly and helpful!
We arrived late as we were traveling with our friend who has terminal breast cancer having brought her along for our bucket list trip. Debra was there to warmly welcome us. She was an absolutely lovely hostess.
Her retreat is divine... It is serene and gorgeously decorated...
The photographs don't do this place justice... It is a destination... And was the perfect place to spiritually refuel after a grueling road trip. The enormous floor to ceiling windows allow you to wake up to a most beautiful serene landscape set in an idyllic view of classic Omaha.
Debra was a very caring and attentive hostess. We arrived much later than expected due to many delays caused by road construction, and she was nonetheless cheerful and willing to help us settle in. The bedroom is beautifully furnished with the most deliciously comfortable bed we've slept in for a long time. Falling into that bed after a long day of driving restored our energy. Perched above the city, the house sits on a beautiful rural property with a broad vista. Breakfast was delicious and beautiful in presentation. I hadn't expected a night in Omaha to be the highlight of a cross-country drive, but it was. Thank you Debra, for making our trek so much more pleasant than we expected.
