The house was just as described, and it fit our needs perfectly. We didn't spend a lot of time there, as we were in the area for a family event. This would be a perfect spot to have a get together. It is extremely quiet, and while it feels secluded, is very close to Sebastopol. I would stay here again, definately
The house was exactly as descripted...beautiful! And Michele is a great host! She help us when we had some problems with our documents. She made as fell like home!
Overall, we had a nice enough stay at this house in Sebastopol. Michelle was friendly and was there to greet us even though we were later than expected due to road construction on 101-N.
•House is very spacious, with three full bathrooms
•Kitchen is well-equipped with a variety of cooking ware
•View is very nice
•Location is convenient to Sebastopol
•We were without gas for the first 16 or so hours of our less than 48 hour trip. This meant no hot water and no cooking. Michelle was apologetic and tried to have it restored quickly. It couldn’t be helped but it was the kind of inconvenience you wouldn’t have to deal with in a hotel, and added some stress to the trip because I wasn’t sure if we would need to find another place to stay for the second night. No discount was offered.
•You don’t actually have the entire house to yourself. You have a good portion of the house but someone else also lives in another, closed-off section. This wasn't clear from the listing so we thought we were free to walk about the property but the other resident appeared and told us to avoid his side of the house.
•The internet didn't work during the time that we were there. Michelle did give us a number to call, but I didn't really want to deal with the hassle during my vacation so I made do with my iPhone.
•The house was not quite as clean as I would have liked given the $75 cleaning free that is being charged. The toilets in particular could have used a good scrub.
A very beautiful house and a beautiful week spent there. The place is located on top of a hill, about 3 miles from downtown Sebastopol. Lots of birds and trees, an inviting back deck and great views of the sunset and moon rise. Loved the three bathrooms (although no tub) and great big kitchen. Beds and rooms were comfortably furnished with all the extras we could want. Michele was extremely accommodating and worked to please our every need.
Michele is a great hostess, and the place is fantastic.
Just wish we had more time to hang out around the vineyard as we were visiting my son, his wife, and grand children. Well worth the price.
We just spent a wonderful weekend at Michelle's house in Sebastapol. She made check in and check out extremely easy and flexible. The house is spacious and well laid out. The kitchen is perfect for staging a fine meal for friends. The key element is the outside deck and views. Looking out on the surrounding vineyards and farms with a glass of wine made the troubles of the world seem far away. We'll be back........
A beautiful, spacious, comfortable retreat. Gorgeous views and a sense of wilderness, yet a short drive to town. Michele is a gracious host--there to greet us and explain everything we needed to know. I highly recommend it.
