About This Listing
Apartment Arapovic is a 10- minute walk away from Dubrovnik's Old Town. It is located in Boninovo, the oldest part of the town beside The Old Town.
It is a newly furnished and decorated studio apartment with twin room, comprising a kitchenette with cooking supplies and a fridge.
From Jul 1 - 8, 2015 the minimum stay is 1 night.
Pavo's appartment is a pretty nice appartment located about 15 minutes walk from the Old Town, just as in his add. The two rooms (bedroom/livingroom with kitchennete and bathroom) is pretty spacious, has an airco and a fridge. The cooking supplies are enough, though a frying pan and a sharp and a cutting board would be welcome. Beds were good and sheets were cleane, bathroom was also very oke.
When we arrived the appartment was not clean as your mom would have done it, but it was very much oke in my mind. You have to get to the appartment through the yard of his parents, who are nice people, you can also sit in the back yard. Three minutes walk is a grocery store (Konzum) which is nice.
When I slept their I unfortunately and accidentely broke one of his beds, in my mind I was not to blame although the damage suggested quite some pressure on the bed. But after Pavo came by and I showed him what happened and explained why in my mind I wasn't to blame he accepted that. I dont think there are any hard feelings luckily!
I can reccomend this appartment if your in Dubrovnik for just two nights (like me) and also if you plan on staying longer!
Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our stay here at all, and decided to leave sooner than we planned. The "apartment" is essentially just a room built on to the back of the hosts apartment, and even requires walking though their back courtyard to get to it. Which also means that you hear everything through the walks. There is also no real kitchen, no available parking in the area, and the room was not ready, even though we agreed upon an arrival time hours before we showed up. The locating is decent, as it's half way between the old town and the new town, but the apartment itself is uncomfortable and missing basic essentials. Communication was also very poor, which made check in, as well as finding the place, unnecessarily difficult.
Pavo's apartment was very nice! It is located a short walking distance from the old city and in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The apartment was very clean and though I only stayed two nights, Pavo and his family were very nice and accommodating and I felt like I could have asked them for anything.
I would definitely recommend staying here!
Great apartment, clean and cozy, and only a beautiful ten minute walk away from dubrovnik's old town!
Overall, I am satisfied about this house because of comfortable beds and large bathroom. Pavo lives next door so you are free to ask something about Dubrovnik. He is welcoming and friendly. It was little bit hard to find the house at the beginning. When you go to Splitski Put road, you need to take stairs which is next to 8 Splitski Put. Location is not so bad. From bus terminal, it takes 25 minutes with lugguages, and from the old town it takes 20 minutes. In front of this house there is big supermarket called Konzum, which requires 5 minutes on foot.
