Beautiful area
Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Away from it all. Our Georgian house is 10 miles (approx. 20 minutes) from the famous literary town of Hay-on-Wye, in the most spectacular unspoilt countryside.
You’ll love the location, the long views, the clean air, silence and unpolluted night skies.
This area is great for couples and solo adventurers - walking, hiking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, biking, horse-riding.
The space
The annexe is behind our beautiful Georgian house and parking is right outside.
There is a gorgeous double bedroom (super kingsize bed) and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. Tranquility, no traffic noise. Real country. Great for walking, biking, fishing, sailing, horse-riding, canoeing etc. Lots of interesting places in the area which are easily accessible.
The cottage is well-equipped and very quiet. During the summer months we run sculpture workshops and at other times this wonderful private space nestled in the most magnificent countryside is available to our friends and family, and to you through Airbnb.
Guest access
Feel free to wander in our 11 acres. We have ducks, chickens, cats and a dog - all of whom are friendly!
Other things to note
Tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar and various condiments supplied. Also if they're laying, some delicious eggs from our hens and ducks.
Otherwise you'll be self-catering.

Our rentals are The Little Annexe, and Airstream in the Hills.
Originally from London, we escaped to Wales with our young children in 2003 and have never looked back. In fact we've moved deeper into this amazing unspoilt countryside!
We run sculpture courses throughout the summer months. My husband Simon (always a working sculptor) teaches, and I provide hospitality, make good food, and run the business side of things. I am also a ceramic hand-builder.
We love meeting interesting people and travelling when we can. Our home is in a quiet and beautiful location in the hills of mid Wales and we like to think our guests can escape completely from the hustle and bustle of modern life, when they come here.
