I was so pleased with my stay here. The apartment was clean and comfy with plenty of thoughtful touches that made this place seem like home. Patrick, the property owner, was out of town but sent greetings, and his property manager, Jonathan, helped me with everything I needed in his absence. They had just enough food in the fridge and pantry so that if you didn't feel like getting out, you'd still be able to have a good meal. This is a garden (basement) unit that doesn't feel that way. There was plenty of good light, and even on the coldest days, it was nice and warm in the studio apartment. Patrick's home his situated in a gorgeous neighborhood next to the Walker Art Gallery. I would highly recommend Patrick's place to any traveler.
This was our first Airbnb experience and it will be hard to top. The apartment was beautiful, fully-stocked, and in a great location. Jonathan, the property manager, was extremely hospitable, and always asking what he could do to improve our stay. Overall we couldn't have asked for a better experience and will look to stay here again when we're in Minneapolis.
This is my first time using AirBnB. I have come to Minneapolis many times to see my son and have always stayed in downtown hotels. Never again. I will stay here at what I described in the guest book as a warm, cozy nest. This location is convenient, the accommodations are spacious for one or two people, the kitchen was well-furnished with both utensils, cookware, and even with all kinds of breakfast makings: fresh muffins, coffee, eggs, bacon, cheese, fruit, and much more. The wind chill went down to -28 while I was here, but the apartment could not have been more toasty and welcoming after days spent wandering around Minneapolis. I can't wait to stay when the weather is warm and I can sit out and have a glass of wine on the little patio looking over to lovely Lowry Park. Thank you, Jonathan for being such a welcoming, gracious host. Patrick, you are well-represented, and I look forward to meeting you next time around!
My daughter, granddaughter, and I had a great stay at Patrick's apartment. Jonathan hosted us as Patrick was out of town. All of our questions and requests were answered and handled so kindly and quickly. The apartment is in a great location and has everything you need for a visit. You won't find a more welcoming, accommodating, and gracious host. Jonathan kept the driveway shoveled, helped us with directions, and many other "extras". 5 stars from us! Clean, cozy, and welcoming.
Awesome stay. Very nicely done and superbly looked after. Appreciated the freshly made cookies and all the extras. This is what airbnb is all about
We absolutely enjoyed our stay and will return! The basement apartment was private, clean and very cozy. We especially appreciated the personal touches and yummy treats. The living room area is inviting and we had lots of fun watching The Food Network (so glad you have that channel)! If you would like to visit Minneapolis, this is the perfect location. You are near the lakes, downtown and uptown. We will definitely be back!
We loved staying at Patrick's! His home is lovely and conveniently next to terrific walking destinations. We felt warmly welcomed the entire stay and loved it's proximity to the museum and restaurants. His hospitality is unmatched and I wouldn't consider staying anyway else when in Minneapolis. Thank you, Patrick!
Patrick was a dream. We arrived at Midnight and he met us at the apartment with banana bread! The apartment was clean, well-appointed and super comfortable. And there was food in the refrigerator. We would definitely return.
Everything was wonderful and the host was a real treat. Very generous gentleman, would love to have Patrick for a neighbor!
Patrick was an excellent host, friendly, informative and generous. The location was ideal, the apartment was clean, comfortable and well decorated. We used the well equipped kitchen to cook several meals for our family. All in all a wonderful experience.
