The Space

Private, Private Private!!!

Two charming rooms in a 1920's house in the heart of East Nashville. Comes with its own upstairs living area with a fully stocked fridge (Soda / Beer), a coffee machine, microwave, sofa's and TV.

Welcome to historic and trendy Lockeland Springs neighborhood in East Nashville, just a few miles from downtown Nashville and 15 minutes from the airport. The neighborhood is charming, with coffeehouses, restaurants, a health food store, art galleries and plenty of independently owned boutiques all within walking distance (see below for specifics). You can catch a bus to downtown a block from our house or park your car on the street in front of our house.

Our charming, updated 1910 Victorian is on desirable block within walking distance to Five Points. Beautiful hardwoods, updated kitchen, awesome backyard great for outside dining and or rest and relaxation. Although you are welcome to use the full kitchen we have a small fridge, microwave, electric tea kettle and a coffee maker upstairs for your use. We live downstairs so the space feels very much your own, we will not get in your way. Feel free to laundry and if you need us to point you in a direction we will but otherwise come and go as you like. We are in bed early, quiet and will be very respectful of your privacy. There are two very friendly dogs (that will bark on your first visit but once they get to know you they will greet you with a tail wag and a smile) but they will be downstairs and completely out of your way as well.

Check In
  • Amy and Jame's two bedroom apartment was perfect for us. Two separate bedrooms and plenty of common space in a gorgeous house with a front porch and backyard. Place was also a lovely base for seeing Nashville. The neighborhood was interesting and worth exploring. There were plenty of good restaurants and bars to walk to and downtown Nashville was less than 10 minutes away. Amy and James were available with good recommendations and provided all the necessary supports one could want traveling, including good coffee in the a.m. Gracious folks with a lovely home - what else could you ask for?

  • Amy was an excellent host! She is also a very warm, generous and considerate person. She gave me lots of feedback in advance to plan a great Nashville trip. There were four people in our group and we all slept comfortably with two bedrooms and a large couch in the living room area.

The East Nashville neighborhood was a blast! There are many unique locally owned shops and restaurants. We found a lot of cool vintage stores that were affordable and had several great restaurant experiences. Everyone we met during the trip was friendly and interesting; it made us want to move to Nashville!

Living in Nashville is such a treat but we love to get out and explore and we have found AirBandB to be the perfect solution to really getting to know an area and its people. We are quiet, early to bed and lead a very healthy lifestyle. Happy to share some banter but also great and keeping to our own and out of the way. Please fire away with any questions to assure that we are a good fit...
