Welcome to historic and trendy Lockeland Springs neighborhood in East Nashville, just a few miles from downtown Nashville and 15 minutes from the airport. The neighborhood is charming, with coffeehouses, restaurants, a health food store, art galleries and plenty of independently owned boutiques all within walking distance (see below for specifics). You can catch a bus to downtown a block from our house or park your car on the street in front of our house.
Our charming, updated 1910 Victorian is on desirable block within walking distance to Five Points. Beautiful hardwoods, updated kitchen, awesome backyard great for outside dining and or rest and relaxation. Although you are welcome to use the full kitchen we have a small fridge, microwave, electric tea kettle and a coffee maker upstairs for your use. We live downstairs so the space feels very much your own, we will not get in your way. Feel free to laundry and if you need us to point you in a direction we will but otherwise come and go as you like. We are in bed early, quiet and will be very respectful of your privacy. There are two very friendly dogs (that will bark on your first visit but once they get to know you they will greet you with a tail wag and a smile) but they will be downstairs and completely out of your way as well.

Amy was a fantastic host and the house was lovely! It was a great neighborhood too, within walking distance of lots of good bars & restaurants and also there was plenty of street parking as well. Lots of light, plenty of room for the four of us, easy to come in and out. I didn't know what it'd be like to stay in a place where the owner also lived, but it turned out amazing — she was there when we needed advice on where to go or other things but we also felt completely independent in our upstairs apartment and she was out for most of the weekend. Would definitely recommend!
Amy is a great hostess and their home is very warm and welcoming. My parents stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday and would come back again.
We had just a wonderful time staying at the house. It is a warm and inviting place and made our time in Nashville very special. Amy was so welcoming to us we felt very much at home. What we found to be a real plus is that the East Nashville part of town we felt was the best neighborhood imaginable: coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores, music venues...everything we needed for entertainment and supplies, and free parking.
Oh man staying at Amy's house was wonderful. Amy is lovely and has great suggestions for places to go her sweet dogs are a bonus! The upstairs is so spacious and the beds are super comfortable especially after a long day of touring. The house is a quick drive from downtown but there is plenty of restaurants near by. I would definitely recommend staying here.
We had an absolute blast in Nashville ! Amy and James have a beautiful home and it is in a great location. We all would be more then happy to stay with them again.
A wonderful location and space. I completely loved every part about the entire experience and would gladly stay with Amy again
We had a great stay! Amy is a great host, and really looked after us. The space was perfect for our needs. We only wish we had more time in Nashville.

Living in Nashville is such a treat but I love to get out and explore and have found AirBandB to be the perfect solution to really getting to know an area and its people. I am quiet, early to bed and lead a very healthy lifestyle. Happy to share some banter but also great and keeping to my own and out of the way. Please fire away with any questions to assure that we are a good fit...
