About this listing
***Please note that beginning Oct 1- set of Dec 31 we will be building a garage with an apartment in our backyard, all the backyard amenities will remain the same and the construction shouldn't interrupt your stay in any way but we just want to make you aware as it isn't listed in our photos and we don't want any surprises for our guests. Feel free to ask questions in regards to the construction.
Welcome to historic and trendy Lockeland Springs neighborhood in East Nashville, just a few miles from downtown Nashville and 15 minutes from the airport. The neighborhood is charming, with coffeehouses, restaurants, a health food store, art galleries and plenty of independently owned boutiques all within walking distance (see below for specifics). You can catch a bus to downtown a block from our house or park your car on the street in front of our house.
Our charming, updated 1910 Victorian is on desirable block within walking distance to Five Points. Beautiful hardwoods, updated kitchen, large master bath, awesome backyard great for outside dining and or rest and relaxation. The very spacious floor plan easily sleeps 6 with room for 8 if two sleep on a very comfortable wrap around sofa.
It is important to note that this is our home, we live here and our personal belongings are not removed during your visit. We have it professionally cleaned before each visit and do our best to offer the best accommodations possible but we do have dogs and the home is old so if you run into dust and or dog hair we don't want you to be surprised. We have noticed that we have lost stars on cleanliness and without any direct complaints and knowing that we always have it cleaned we felt it was important to set the dog hair/dust expectation as this is the only thing we could see that might have lost a star here and there.

Amy is a SAINT. She was incredibly flexible, helpful, and trusting with our group. I briefly met her at the end of the weekend and my group and I seriously wanted to hang out with her.
Great location (walking distance to hip East Nashville bars/restaurants & just a 7-8 min drive/$6 Uber to downtown). Highly recommend walking to Drifters for bbq, live music, and beer.
Such a cool house. Clean, very well decorated, lot of character, great for big groups, comfortable beds (access to air beds for large groups), AWESOME back porch/patio space.
VERY FUN Afternoon Recommendation: Drive to Walmart, buy $5 tubes and $5 water shoes for each person in your group, buy beer, drive 30 min to Gossett Tract access point on the Harpeth River, float with friends for 2.5 hours to The Narrows access point. Super fun, cheap, and beautiful!
Y HAVEN'T YOU BOOKED IT YET?!
The house was great and more than big enough for a group of 10! We loved the area and found so many great restaurants within walking distance of the house. Amy stayed in contact the whole time and was quick to reply with all our questions. Thanks Amy!
My group and I had an excellent stay at Amy's home. There were 8 of us and we were plenty comfortable. There is plenty of living space to hang out, and the outdoor area is a great space. Having a kitchen is always nice when you travel for those times when you don't feel like going out to eat.
There are some great places in the neighborhood to eat/drink/shop. My personal favorites were Barista Parlor for coffee, plus there are a bunch of little shops near it, Five Points pizza, and Nashville Southern Biscuit. All worth a stop if you have the time and appetite.
I would highly recommend this as a place to stay when traveling to Nashville, especially with a group. Much better to all be together and have space to cook and hangout than to be cramped up in individual hotel room!
Amy's house is amazing! We had a great time with friends and loved the neighborhood. Would definitely come back.
Amy was a fabulous host during our time in Nashville. She was very communicative before and throughout our stay. The home was clean, spacious and an all around great place. It was within 10 minutes of East Nashville's 5-points and a short ride to central Nashville.
The house has 3 bedrooms and comfortably slept the 8 of us. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to bring a group to the area!
Great place to stay! I stayed here for a bachelorette party with 12 girls and there was more than enough space. With the large beds, couches, and blow up mattress we all had a place to sleep, but the real advantage to this house is the back patio. It was large enough to accommodate our group so that we could all sit in a large circle for the bachelorette games and lingerie shower. It was perfect. Ubers and Lyfts arrived in less than 5 minutes and the house is just short ride to downtown. Amy was so sweet and accommodating and even offered us the beer in the fridge! I highly recommend this listing.
The house was huge and the pictures don't do it any justice. We had 8 girls staying for a long weekend and there was more than enough room! The house is a quick 5 minute ride to Broadway - it was very convenient for us to get around. I will say that the house is very "lived in". It looks like the owner just up and left right before we got there, which was nice and gave it a cozy feel. However, there was take out in the fridge, dog food in the dog bowls, laundry in the washer/dryer, clothes and pictures everywhere. We had done a big food shopping trip but didn't have anywhere to put our food/alcohol because the freezer and fridge were full. Which we didn't mind - but if you aren't comfortable literally stepping into someone's life, this house may not be a good fit. There is an amazing porch out front with a swing, that we sat at every morning and drank coffee. The backyard was undergoing construction when we were there, but when it's finished I'm sure it'll look amazing!

About the Host, Amy
Living in Nashville is such a treat but I love to get out and explore and have found AirBnB to be the perfect solution to really getting to know an area and the people. I am quiet, early to bed and lead a very healthy lifestyle. Happy to share some banter but also great and keeping to my own and out of the way. Please fire away with any questions to assure that we are a good fit...
