The treehouse is truly a special place that made our stay in Costa Rica magical! Michele and his mother, Maria, were excellent hosts- very accommodating and made sure we were provided with everything to make us comfortable. The location is perfection! We loved the privacy and natural beauty surrounding the property in a quiet, beach front neighborhood. A true paradise. You can see the ocean from the window of the treehouse if you look close and we woke each morning to the sound of the waves. The beach which is a 2 min walk across the road is beautiful with calm surf, great for swimming and was pretty much empty. We rented bikes and rode to Cahuita town a couple times. It's such a lovely area with lots to enjoy!

This treehouse was everything I hoped for and more. Unfortunately Michele had to leave before we got there but his mother, Mirella, was there for us and took care of us and Michele reached out as soon as he could. This was my first time traveling internationally and I'm happy it was here. The property is quiet, quaint, relaxing and the treehouse is amazing and has everything you need. It's not a 5 star hotel- its a tree house! But even for a treehouse there are so many extra details that made our trip extra special. The beach is wonderful, and its a short walk to other beaches and bars and restaurants and you can rent bikes to get around as well. You can be as touristy or as local as you want in this area. There's just so much to do and at the same time not intimidating at all. I cannot wait to come back to this treehouse.

The treehouse was great! Clean, comfy, and a quick walk to the beach. Michele's lovely mom was a great host for the week. We plan to return in the near future!

I can't recommend the tree house enough. Michele was so kind, warm, welcoming and helpful. The tree house was absolutely beautiful and charming, can walk right across the road to a secluded beach. Very close to bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

Beautiful, unique, amazing tree house. So close to the beach, a great area in Cahuita. We almost wanted to spend all our time in the treehouse, it was such a pleasure to come home to and wake up in. We walked to the beach early one morning to watch the sunrise, couldn't ask for more. Michele is a great host, very kind with two beautiful sweet dogs. He's nearby to help with any assistance. We were there during a really rare hurricane (hasn't been one in Costa Rica in about 175 years), and even though it missed our area and we didn't have to experience hardly any stormy conditions at all, Michele was cautious and thoughtful and immediately offered us to stay one night in a different next-door property so that we would be safe from any high winds and branches up in the tree (although there were none and it was very safe). The bed was comfortable with an easy, comforting net. Great bathroom and fresh towels. Love the lamps and curtains.

Very private, romantic, and gorgeous. It was located in a neat little area, 15 minute drive to the sloth sanctuary, and just a short walk to the beach and 2 restaurants. We ate and drank at a restaurant called Coconuts, and I would highly recommend it. They have great bartenders and wonderful food. There is another one down the way called Bananas, but we didn't try that one. We only stayed 2 nights, but I have never been so relaxed. Michele was a wonderful host, I got lost upon arrival and I was late to arrive, but he was very accommodating. He also lives very close by, if we needed anything we could just knock on his door and ask. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
