We offer a big room with private bathroom in a gay friendly apartment. The neighbourhood is young and has a great nightlife. The flat is very central, 10 minutes away from the metro stop Vittorio Emanuele and 15 minutes to Termini Station.
The flat is very bright with a great view and It's on the fifth floor with elevator. The room is very big and has a private bathroom inside. It's full of art pieces as we own an art gallery here in Pigneto that focuses on street and urban art
We love to interact with our guests. Being romans we have lots of skills and great advices for a trip in this city. We think that this is a great opportunity for us too to meet new people from all around the world.
Pigneto is one of the coolest areas in Rome. It's very central, by tram ( the stop is on our block) it's 10 minutes from Termini station and 7 minutes to the subway stop "Vittorio Emanuele". The neighbourhood is very young and full of bars, clubs, cafes and galleries but still keeps a real taste of the not touristic Rome; there is a very old market where to buy fresh fruits and vegetables four blocks away from the flat. Pigneto is also the heart for streetart in Rome, so that you can discover a young and vibrant scene down the streets all throughout the area
From here you can get easily to anywhere by tram and subway. It' s 10 minutes to Termini Station and 25 to Trevi Fountain and the very center.
Very nice room and (website hidden) is big and private with fast wifi. The breakfast is simple(toast&coffee)but it is enough.
Super-friendly and relaxed hosts and a spacious room with good privacy. Very easy to get to the center with the tram and if you bring earplugs the traffic-noise isn't a problem at all. We had a lovely stay and just regret not spending more time in Pigneto.
Lovely safe suburb to stay in. Spacious room with ensuite in an extremely convenient location, that has great restaurants and nightlife. Our hosts were great and friendly, and gave precise directions on how to get to their place from Rome Termini station. At night there was traffic noise from main road. Some pots and pans left around because they use an external cleaner, which came the next day after we left.
Great hosts in a young neighbourhood. Jacapo and Maurizio were lovely hosts and they really made our stay in Rome great. The area is lively and there are lots of bars/restaurants in Pigneto. The room is about 15 mins away from termini on the tram, which stops right outside the apartment door. It is a big room and has a private bathroom. The only thing that could be troublesome is that it is noisy with the window open but it wasn't bad with the windows closed as there was a fan to keep cool. Maurizio was really helpful with recommending restaurants and bars etc.
Thanks again for a great time. X
we had a pleasant stay in Jacopo's apartment, and thanks to him and maurizio a great time in rome ,they were not tired to make us suggestions though their time was very tight ...
the room is large and bright, but can be made quite dark and when the windows are closed you can hardly hear the street. There is a separate simple bathroom with hot shower and every morning they prepared a small breakfast that we took while exploring all the pieces of art.
thanks again, we really could enjoy ourselves at yours!
We had a great time in Jacopos and Mauritios apartment! The street is quite loud, but therefor many busses and trams are running just in front of the apartment.
They recommended a lot of beautiful places we otherwise would not have seen during our trip. AND Pigneto is definitely worth visiting - but you would probably not stop by if you´re living in the city centre. Take the chance ;)
Me and my friend stayed at Maurizio's and Jacopo's place for 5 days, it was a nice and spacious room and the hosts were nice and helpfull. Every morning there was a simple but nice breakfast waiting for us!
By tram the house was easily accessible from the city (from Termini) so that was a big advantage!
The only thing was the noise, the room we were staying in was next to the busy road/tramway. During the nights there was a lot of traffic and we had to keep the windows closed.
Apart from that we had a pleasant stay at their house. Thanks Jacopo and Maurizio!
The place is conveniently located in Rome where the tram can easily take you from the main station. The host is very artistic and so does the decoration of the room. One funny thing about the building is that the elevator is EXTREMELY small and old school. Definitely recommended to try and feel the true Rome apartment spirit!
Location was a bit away from the main touristy attractions (roughly 20 mins of tram ride to termini) but there are buses and trams in front of the door. The room is spacious and there's a big window that will allows you to overlook the street. A convenient store across the road so you can buy some food to wrap your own sandwich if you are on a budget travel. Our host is friendly and even made Brownies on the day we were leaving :)
Jacopo and Maurizzio were very nice since our arrival. They gave us suggestions about Rome and answered all our doubts. The apartment is very comfortable and spacious and it's in front of a tram stop.
