The house is a modern and fresh house that dates from 1904 and renovated with old details left.
It has modern fireplace, modern fully equiped kitchen with all you need, a small garden, a two persons bed, two toilets (one on the ground floor and one in the bathroom), a bathroom with bath and toilet, a study and a wine cellar.
The first floor and ground floor has been completely renovated in 2007.
Naarden Vesting is a monumental and historic vesting village near Amsterdam (15 min. drive) which is surrounded in with water to protect the village in ancient times. It is an unique place in the Netherlands for culture an near the Gooi lake as a nature monument where you can sail, kitesurf (Gooi meer), play golf (Naarder golfclub), biking or just for making nice walks.
It is also the homebase of one of Hollands' most famous Dutch interior Designers Jan des Bouvrie with the historic Arsenaal to expose and sell his work.
It has it all: museums, a fort, many restaurants (from modern, top, to simple and classic), design, shops and a lovely saturday market. And on one hand a small village surrounded by nature.. That is probably why it has been rated as one of the best places to live in in The Netherlands.
For more information: (website hidden).
@ Saturdays there is a market with fresh fish, delicious nuts, flowers and Dutch English pies which we would recommend!
There is a Coffee company at 5 min. walk which is lovely and relaxing.. On a sunny day you can sit on the terrace main street of the village.
It is free and easy to park a car. The nearest trainstation is 15 min. walk. Amsterdam is a 20 min drive with car or train.
I provide a Nespresso coffee machine and capsules and a breadmaking machine for making your own bread.

We had a lovely stay in this cute house in Naarden-Vesting.
The house was perfect and 'our home from home' for a week. It was a lovely quiet place to relax in the evening after some busy days out around the Netherlands. The house was very clean and tidy, and well appointed. We met the house keeper on arrival who welcomed us and showed us around which was lovely.
Naarden-Vesting was a good place to expore Amsterdam, Utrecht and the National parks from. We took the train mostly, which was within walking distance, but there was also a bus which you can get, the 110 or 151.
Arranging the trip through Eva, who communicated very effectively, and Air Bnb was an easy process, and one that I will repeat.
We cannot give enough gold stars to Eva van Leuken’s luxury house within the Fortress (21 Peperstraat) and to the village of Naarden-Vesting itself. Eva was a delight to work with – so helpful and accommodating. The house was beyond our expectations and the location was superb, quiet section of town but close to all the restaurants and activities in the city central. Every resident that we met was wonderful – so helpful and welcoming!
A word about Airbnb. We found this company to be very efficient, professional and very easy to work with. We certainly would use them again.
Eva was a great host, her place is amazing and the city was very charming. her Hospitality over whelmed us. I highly recommend staying here any time you are in the area. The 20 min train ride into Amsterdam was well worth it.
I have bought this house because of it's charming style in 2006. I renovated it to make it light and refreshing.
I love sports like: skiing, snowboarding, surfing, hockey, scuba diving etc. I cann't live without the patatje stoofvlees (French Fries with Meatsauce). Sounds disgusting, but I love it! Just like fresh spinach and food. I love travelling overseas to Australia and New Zealand, which I visited many times already. My other passions are design (Italian, Scandanavian and Australian) clothing, interior design and architecture.
Furthermore, I love doing this with friends and family.
I am renting this house to be able to buy a dreamhouse for my family and myself.
My life motto is: do things with love, that you love and for the people that you love.
