The gorgeous frame - blue-green sea on one side and the other Atlantic - gave the Islanders the title of postcard of Cocoa Coast. Also good waves breaking over there made the region one of the points of surfing the Brazilian Northeast. But Islanders also has calm waters and golden sand beaches as the Millionaires, South and São Miguel, the favorite of locals and tourists.
The flavor of the golden times was not lost. Some farms in the region are open to visitors and allow to know the process of cultivation of cocoa from planting to post harvest process, including, of course, a tasting.
Even the first chocolate factory in the Northeast homemade works in full swing, offering the delights with various fillings and shapes.
The historical and cultural preservation of the region reflects in nature. It Islanders in Park Road which is the first ecological highway of the country, with pristine beaches, mangroves, waterfalls ... having at its end a pristine Itacare, dotted with deserted beaches and protected by cliffs.
