About this listing
Live in the middle of Oslo, only three minutes walk from the train station!
This is the apartment for people who appreciate the urban life and who want to live right in the middle of the buzzing city. It may not be very suitable for families with children, as you have to take into account some noise from the street, especially during weekends (as you would from any other place in the middle of a city centre).
Right outside the entrance is Oslo's main street Karl Johans gate, with shopping opportunities all around you. All kinds of shops and grocery store are "just around the corner".
The main public transportation centre of Oslo, Jernbanetorget, is not even a minute walking distance away. Catch the metro to the Munch Museum or the bus to the National Heritage Museum. Or take the tram two stops to Grünerløkka, the hip and trendy quarter with heaps of cafes, restaurants and places to go out.
The apartment has a separate bedroom with a double bed (140 x 200 cm.). In the living room, you'll find a sofa that turns into a comfortable double bed in no time. There is a smart folding table that seats up to four people, but it takes up very little space when folded together. The kitchen has a refrigerator and a cooking stove with oven, and all other utensils you need for cooking.
Experience Oslo with :
- Wifi internet connection
- Common washing room with tumble dryer
- One towel pr person and bed linen provided
- Fully equipped kitchen
- I am available during your whole stay
(- There's a TV, but due to technical issues, there's sadly no channels on it.)
Walk 5-10 minutes to see:
- The Opera House
- The Middle Age Park
- Akershus Castle and Fortress
- National Gallery
- The Royal Palace
- Cruise on the Oslo Fjord
- Oslo main shopping street (Karl Johans gate)
- The Parliament
Oslo is a small city, but staying in my apartment makes it seem bigger, as you live right in the middle of everything. It doesn't get more central than this!

Eirik was a very helfull host. He picked us up at the trainstation and took us to the apartment.
It was a nice and clean apartment, and the view from the roof was fantastic.
Our stay was very comfortable. We were mat by the host at the station and walked over to the apartment. The place was clean and had everything we could have needed. Thank you and we definitely recommend Eirik as the host!
The host was great and very patient with me when I couldn't find the correct door - even though it was explained very well ... I blame fatigue! Their description of the locality is very honest and I would agree it is not really for a family based on the proximity to bars etc. The location to the train station was my motivation to stay here and it was extremely convenient. Thanks guys.
Great apartment in a perfect location for exploring Oslo. All the attractions are within walking distance and there are bars and restaurants minutes away in every direction. Eirik was on hand if we needed any assistance too. No hesitation in recommending.
The apartment is great. Excellent location. Cosy environment. I found it clean and tidy upon arrival and the host Paul was friendly. Highly recommended.
The other reviews pretty much sum up our experience, and the description and pictures of the flat are accurate. There were no surprises. The location is excellent; not even a 5 minute walk from the train station. We arrived on a Monday night and stayed until a Friday morning.
A couple notes worth mentioning:
1. The flat was not nearly as noisy as we thought it would be. We had the windows open and the noise was more traffic than anything; not a big deal at all.
2. We came with a baby. Eirik was kind enough to provide a crib for us. Staying with a child should not be an issue, as long as the child knows what s/he can/cannot do.
3. The flat stays on the warm side if you do not open the windows. That was not a problem for us as the weather was great.
Overall, it was a fine experience.
