Great studio, closely to all must sees. Pick-up was perfectly organised, as well as the support of the housekeeper. We didn't meet the owner, but that was not an issue at all. Emails were answered straight away. Spacious studio, very clean, with all equipment you need. Don't bring too much luggage, as the studio is on the 3th floor, so a lot of stairs. One small remark; the studio is big enough to host four people, but the spare beds are very uncomfortable, so not to recommend. The fixed bed is perfect! We really enjoyed our stay.

Jonathan and his friends are incredibly nice. The apartment is located in the center of city and just few block from huge shipping mall. Jonathan invited me to his house for lunch. He is also successful business man, therefore, if you are interested, he can hear about Cambodia business as well

Jin Eng was a fantastic host during our 2 nights stay. He is friendly and provides timely advice on the key attractions in Phnom Penh. His place is spacious and clean and is located next to a very nice Aeon Mall where you can easily get groceries. We will definitely stay at this place when we return. Thank you for hosting us!

Unfortunately I never met Jonathan myself. But all questions I ever had were straight away answered very friendly by mail. The flat was really great and very clean with a large balcony towards the street. And the area was perfect. Walking distance to the centre and close to a lot of restaurants, bars and cafes and nearby several convenience stores. Within four weeks were I had been living in Jonathan apartment I felt myself very comfortable and would recommand it to others.

Great location, room was clean and modern, balcony is a real bonus. Jonathan was very helpful and attentive - we didn't need anything in particular but he would have assisted in any way he could if we had.

Jonathan's apartment is very large, enormous in fact! It is great to have lots of room. The washing machine was an absolute bonus for us as we are travelling for a while. The fridge was stocked with beers, which was much appreciated and a lovely touch. Jonathan was quick to respond to our requests for a power board to connect the fridge and kettle at the same time and to our request for lighter bedding. He was also attentive to check that everything was ok. The wifi was also fast. The only downside of the apartment was that it is on a busy road. If you are a light sleeper like me, this probably is not the place for you. The area is also not that great, but you are never far from anything with a Tuk Tuk.

It was my first time in Cambodia and I could not have hoped for a better spot to call home for a few days. The studio is conveniently located near the major attractions (accessible by foot or a short tuk tuk ride), restaurants and even comes with its own little ATM, which sits just outside the building. It is a very spacious apartment with all the necessities. It has wifi, for which I was grateful because my phone would not accept a local sim, so I relied on the wifi to stay in touch. The fridge filled with drinks and the washing machine were a bonus too, as they're both very much appreciated after long hot days of sightseeing. The balcony was a great spot to watch the goings on on the street below. Great if you're nosy like me. The best part of this studio, however, was the people associated with it. I did not get to meet Jonathon in person during my stay, but he was always a responsive and attentive host. We kept in touch through email and I would receive lightning fast replies to my questions about Phnom Penh. I would add too that Jonathon is very patient because I had alot of questions! Ping, who came to meet me on a scooter after the taxi dropped me off, was cheerful and kind and even took me to and from a local supermarket so I could get some supplies. She hooked me up with a tuk tuk driver Pon Lork, who was a lovely man, also equal parts kindness and patience. Vanda, the caretaker for the building, is another good person to know. He introduced me to a good Khmer restaurant and got up at an ungodly hour so that I could hand back the studio keys when I left. If pressed, the only thing I'd point out is the studio is on the 3rd floor, including a small mezzanine level. If you have large-ish bags, be prepared to get them up some stairs. Speaking for myself, though this was not a huge issue in spite of my substantial bag. One other tiny point, although not a bad one in any way, is be sure to turn the key enough times in the studio door until you hear a click. This way you'll know you've locked the door properly. Nothing a little practise won't fix. And the same goes for crossing roads on foot. Traffic is frenetic but follow a local first until you nail the technique. If this is your first time in Cambodia, like it it was for me, you will find people to be kind, open and genuine, with plenty of warmth to go around. This studio near Independence Monument is where that experience begins.

I am a Malaysian who has been working in Phnom Penh, Cambodia for almost 2 years. In fact, I enjoy doing interior designing. Fortunately, I have this spare apartment on hand and then it has become a training ground for me to put my inspiration into practice.

Travel is one of the most important goals in my life. Mere in the year of 2013, I had traveled to several cities like Beijing, Chengdu, Yangon, Bagan, Mandalay, Yogyakarta, Bali, Tokyo, Kota Kinabalu, Hong Kong, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, Seoul, Chicago and Minneapolis. I understand the need of a traveler quite well. Besides, I don't really enjoy staying in a confined hotel room, in fact, I prefer a place to stay which is homey, or in short, Home Away From Home.

Hence, I am inspired to convert this Khmer old style apartment into a cool place for travelers to stay during their short trip to Phnom Penh. I really hope you would enjoy the stay in my apartment and appreciate a lot if you could leave a review after your stay.

Lastly, welcome to Phnom Penh!
