Our experience in Bucharest was amazing because of Dan. We don't have a cell phone and he went out of his way to meet us and get us set up in his apartment. We spent a great afternoon chatting and he gave us tons information for the rest of our trip in Romania. His apartment is in a great neighbourhood, central to just about everything, and the building and apartment is full of character. Best introduction to a city we've ever had. Thanks for a great experience!
The apartment is just as described, fully equipped, clean, and bright. Also conveniently located in a central, yet very quiet area. Dan is super-friendly and helpful, and I highly recommend his place!
Great stay at Dan's place. His flat was nice, clean and had everything I needed, including A/C (very helpful in the +30 degrees of Bucharest in summer). Location is good, close to the city center by walk. Dan is a really nice guy, very helpful and gives you tons of good advices to enjoy your stay. He replied very quickly to my messages. Absolutely recommended.
My first days in Bucharest could not have been any more fantastic thanks to Dan. What an amazing host. He is EVERYTHING that the other reviews said he is. He was quick to answer all of my questions before I left home and once I was there he helped me with deciding on how to spend my 3 weeks in Romania, offered use of his computer since I was not travelling with one, hooked me up with people and places and suggestions, all of which were the best. He even called me after I'd left just to check in and see if I needed anything. I felt extremely taken care of, like I had a real friend in Romania. The apartment is as represented, and in a great location for exploring the beauty of Bucharest. It got noisy at night with some nearby neighbors who like to chat into the wee hours so bring ear plugs if you're sensitive.
Great experience if you like the feel a little bit of Bucharest old times. Close to everything but most of all the courtyard of the building is amazing. Dan was always available for every info that I need. Highly recommended!
Dan is a really nice and helpful host and the place is beautiful and special! very central in a nice area, where you can discover many things by foot. Dan gave us very good advices on where to go and made our stay in Bucuresti very pleasant! I absolutely recommend this place!
I had a great stay at Dan's place and I would definitely go back. There are three things I would like to say about Dan's place.
Firstly, Dan is very friendly, helpful and polite. I had a very packed schedule of meetings during my stay and I wished I had more time to get to know Dan a bit better.
Secondly, Dan's apartment is great. It has a large bedroom and decent sized bathroom and kitchen. It is in a period building, but Dan has restored the apartment to a good standard.
Thirdly, the location of the apartment is central. It is walking distance to the old town/centre of Bucharest.
