Our bunkhouse, nestled into a quiet woodland setting on 1500 conserved acres, is ideal for large groups wanting to experience the beauty of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. Hike, ski or snowshoe our 30km of forested trails, explore the Clyde River by boat, or join us for one of our educational workshops in the main lodge. Downhill skiing, mountain biking, hiking, canoeing, snowmobiling, fishing and more are close by. Special pricing is available for large groups - e-mail us with your inquiry.

The space
The Bunkhouse is designed for groups in mind. Mattressed bunks are situated in groups of four (2 top, 2 bottom) along one wall of the building, with privacy curtains for each section. (AirBnb's listing of 5 bunks won't go any higher -- we actually have 8 and can sleep 16!) The common area is a great gathering space, with a large table, chairs, and benches along the walls. There is a small fridge, microwave and a k-cup coffee maker (please bring your own k-cups). A woodstove keeps it cozy and warm in colder months, and there is radiant heating. Two bathrooms with running water, toilets and showers are off of the common room, with toilet paper and soap included. Please bring your own towels, bed linens, and pillows. An outdoor patio looks out on the trees.

Guest access
Basic rental of the bunkhouse is limited to the building and access to our trail system. If you would like to take advantage of the amenities in our main lodge, such as wifi and our full kitchen, please check with the staff for availability of times around programs that may be scheduled.

Other things to note
Please note if you are a first time visitor to northern Vermont, that many of our secondary roadways are graded dirt, rather than pavement, including the Ten Mile Square Road to the Center and our driveway. These charming and peaceful roadways are one of the reasons we love Vermont! However, be advised that these roads may become muddy and difficult to navigate during the few weeks of 'mud season' during the spring thaw.
