Hi Friends!! Our home in High Point Terrace can comfortably host as many as many as 4 people of the same party! We have two separate bedrooms both of which have comfortable, plush queen sized beds. There is one private bathroom.
**If you are a party of two and would like to take advantage of both bedrooms instead of sharing one, we charge an additional $20/night. This helps us with the extra cleaning, etc. Just ask about using both rooms, and we can send you a special offer.**
Our space is decorated nicely with comfort and cleanliness being of utmost priority. We want our house to feel warm and relaxed. You will find soft towels, fresh linens, and cozy bedding.

Guests will have access to their private bedroom and bathroom. They will also have access to our wireless internet and our community spaces such as the living room and kitchen. There is a spacious front yard and fenced in backyard. Our casa es su casa!
Though we are busy ourselves with dental school and work, we very much enjoy getting to know our guests. Our dog, Bentley, loves to interact with guests, but we will give as much space as our guests desire.
Our neighborhood, although quiet and quaint, is always teeming with folks walking their dogs, families biking the streets, or friends catching up on their front lawn. We are situated a quarter mile from the popular Greenline trail where you can walk, run, bike, rollerblade, etc. We are also a half mile from a neighborhood grocer, pizza place, sandwich shop, and local pub. A short 10 minute drive will get you to the popular midtown area that is full of bars, hip restaurants, and unique shopping. But if the nightlife and fabulous restaurants of downtown is more your scene, we are only 15 minutes away from there as well. Have the best of both worlds with a safe, quiet neighborhood that's 15 minutes from everything (including the airport).
If you don't have a car yourself, taxis* are the easiest way to get around. If you make it downtown there is a trolley line that runs through the heart of the downtown area. *If you don't have a car, we recommend Uber or Lyft (you know, staying with the sharing economy theme...)
Sam Cooper Blvd. is very close allowing for quick access to the Memphis area. Otherwise, let us know and we can try to help you out with a ride as our schedule permits.
We love recommending all of our favorite places and spaces. Heck, we may even get a hankering for adventure and want to join along!
Since Jeff is a full time student and Julie works from 8-5 please be patient as we try to work with your schedule upon check-in.
Please clean up after yourself when cooking in our kitchen, leave your luggage on the floor or luggage rack (not our clean beds), and please smoke outside. Overall, we just ask that you care for our place like you would your own.
Although Bentley (our pup) does well with other dogs, it's easier on everybody if we don't allow pets (sorry Fido).
We had a lovely stay with Julie and Jeff and will definitely be back again. The neighborhood is really cute and the house clean and decorated tastefully. Our favorite part was their dog Bentley. :)
Awesome! Julie &Jeff were so nice and hospitable. There home is beautiful and has lots of character. And their pup Bentley paid us a visit. Sweet doggie. Loved it and would definitely come again.
Jeff and Julie are wonderful hosts, they accepted our crazy family into their home and truly made us feel welcome. We will be headed back to Memphis over the next few years and hope to stay with them again!
Our stay with Jeff and Julie was wonderful! They made us feel right at home. Their house was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The decor was beautiful. They added special touches such as bottled water, granola bars, directions, etc that goes above and beyond what a normal host would provide. They were a charming couple. I would recommend them to anyone traveling in the vicinity!!!! A must see and stay kind of place!
Julie and Jeff are exceptional hosts with a beautiful home! They were kind enough to let us stay while they were away. We were provided with all the necessities: towels, a laptop, wifi, comfortable beds and little luxuries: toiletries, snacks, water, locally brewed beer! I was glad we were able to meet them the last night of our stay. They are exemplary AirBnB hosts attentive to their guests needs. I would recommend them to anyone in Memphis.
Awesome place to stay. Julie and Jeff made us feel so welcome. Easy to find, easy to stay, hard to leave :-).
Jeff and Julie were wonderful hosts and they were ready to accommodate us at short notice.
They have lovely and cozy home and guest rooms are very clean and have comfortable beds.
The location is quiet and convenient. Highly recommended.
Hello! We are Jeff, Julie, and Bentley (woof).
We are 27 year olds who love Memphis! Julie, born and raised in Memphis, works full time for a family business where she is lucky enough to bring her pup, Bentley, to work every day. Jeff, a native Nashvillian, is a full time student in dental school at the UT Health Science Center. Between the two of them, they can recommend the best restaurants, museums, parks, coffee shops, BBQ joints, attractions, YOU NAME IT, that Memphis has to offer.
They are travel junkies! During college, Julie spend a semester in Granada, Spain and got to see all the amazing things Spain and other parts of Europe have to offer. She loved it so much, she and Jeff went back to Europe for a month over Christmas in 2013! They are also outdoorsy people who always prefer to be outside. Jeff spent 4 months hiking the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine after undergraduate school. Overall, he has visited 41 states. Julie needs to catch up!
Some of their other interests include: DIY projects around the house, frequenting the dog park (Bentley's favorite), brunch, maps, antique furniture, the Memphis Grizzlies, music, documentaries, but mostly we enjoy being together, being active, and eating good food to make up for it!
Our favorite part about hosting is getting to know new people. We have been a part of the Airbnb community for over a year now and have enjoyed every minute of it! We love our home and think you will too! Hope we get the opportunity to host you.
