The flat
Very nice flat in the Quartier Latin near Rue Mouffetard and 10 minutes walk from the Cathedral.
It overlooks a large and flourish courtyard.
In an old house, not in a building therefore this flat is very quiet and has a lot of charm.
This is my personnal flat I rent it when I leave, therefore my personal things remain there (but hidden)

1 large living room separated from the kitchen by a bar. Fully equipped. Lovely decoration. Large fridge, toaster, freezer, hot plates, WiFi, HIFI (Zeppelin AIR from Bowers&Wilkins), LED television with cable, Sofa, washing machine, iron, ironing board, vacuum...
1 bedroom with Queen-sized bed (I furnish fresh bed linens and towels)
1 bathroom with a bathtub + 1 HAIR DRYER ;-)

Moreover, it is a safe, pleasant neighbourhood, with clothes stores, food stores, wine stores, a huge open-air market (three times a week) and famous Parisian bakeries almost next door.

The apartment is located in the 5th district just near the “Jardin des Plantes”, and near the Saint Louis Island.
On the Saint Louis Island the streetscape is absolutely beautiful, with a myriad of interesting shops, boutiques, and restaurants.
Nearby the pedestrian rue Mouffetard and the Pantheon, which is said to be the right heart of the Latin quarter.
Close to shops, bars, restaurants, diners, Metro, Arab World Institute, Saint Germain... Latin Quarter is definitely the best place in Paris !

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • We had a wonderful time. Great location. Rather small, but that's Rive Gauche. Lovely courtyard, very quiet unlike other parts of Paris and extremely well connected to Metro lines. Future guests should ask for the street door code, so they can come in and buzz the apartment (because we were rather confused and fortunate that some neighbors let us in to wait for Marine and the key, so we would not be stranded outside with our luggage). Thanks for a great stay!

  • We had a great time in Paris, and it was even better because of staying at Alexis' flat. The place was clean and quiet and the location is great for walking anywhere in central Paris, and convenient to the Metro as well. It is perfect size for a couple. Besides Alexis and Sina were very flexible with our check in and check out issues. We recommend it without a doubt. Have fun in Paris!

  • Really nice apartment on a great location! Just a minutes walking to Notre Dame, Saint Germain area and well communicated, I really enjoyed my stay there, the apartment is small but really comfortable and clean.

    February 2014
  • The location is great and the apartment is a fairly large one bedroom. Alex and Sina were very accommodating and flexible when it came to check out and check in. Apartment was clean, neat, and very functional. Recommend for a short or long stay.

  • We had a very pleasant stay. The apparment is nice and in a good location. Everything we needed was just around the corner. We could image though that it might get a bit cold when temperatures reach below 0 degrees. Also the pictures make the flat look a bit more spacy that it actually is (but no big deal). Communication with Alexis was quick and easy. Thx!

  • Nice flat and very helpful host, quick response and very flexible with checkin and checkout.
The flats is a bit small but ok for two people, as almost all flats are very small in (website hidden) was clean and the situation very good, close to metro stations and bus. The place is very quiet and have enough light from the exterior,
The bed was confortable and big enough for two.

  • Excellent communication from host, so prompt to reply, on time for keys to be picked up and dropped off. Really great location, good price. Apartment had all the amenities we needed. Highly recommended.

  • Merci Alexis! The apartment was perfect for our stay in Paris. Very comfortable and in a quiet courtyard while also being very central. Thank you Sina for the kind welcome and the great restaurant recommendations!

    October 2013
  • Overall a great experience. The courtyard is beautiful and authentically Parisian. The place is clean and well kept. It's nice to have a fridge, especially if you're a foodie and like to stock up on cheese, foie gras and saucisson. The location is ideal. Yes the bathrooms might be small, but this too is authentically Parisian. Also great are the flexible check in/check out times which make vacationing much more pleasurable. I would 'certainement' stay here again.

  • We couldn't ask for a better location. It was close to everything and had a lot of cafes and restaurants close by. The place was clean and cozy and it was very quiet at night. I recommend this place and will definitely stay there on my next visit to Paris.

Hi there, I'm an Airbnb host since June 2011 and Airbnb Staff at the Paris office since a few months. I work as a business developer. I come from Clermont-Ferrand, a small town in the center of France where we play rugby, build tyres and eat cheese. I love eating stinky cheese with great wines. I love to meet new people and help them discover Paris ! So, feel Free to book my flat and ask me tips about Paris. My only goal is to help you have a meaningful trip in Paris.
