It was my first time going to Monterey with my fiancé, it was a wonderful stay. The host Maria and her husband were very nice and welcoming, we were also amazed by their lovely dog Shana. The room is perfect, cozy, quiet, clean with private bath, we loved it and enjoyed our stay. The breakfasts provided was very nice and sweet. We would definitely love for Maria to host us again if we have a chance to go in the future...
I was greeted at the Valladares' home by their lovely, wonderful dog Shana. Maria and Jose welcomed me into their space and graciously offered to make breakfast before I took off for a bike race, an incredibly kind gesture. The room itself was perfect - a full shower/bath and spotless bathroom, as well as a really comfortable bed. The hosts are clearly interested in making sure every guest has an incredible experience. This might have been the best Airbnb I've stayed in to date (and I've stayed in quite a few.)
It was my first time going to Salinas, went for my daughters softball tournament. Maria & her husband were very nice & welcoming. Our room was exactly like the photo. Very clean, very quiet, the bed very comfortable, my daughter slept like a baby. We loved it and enjoyed our stay. We would definitely love for Maria to host us again...
Really nice stay in Salinas. The room was very clean with a private bath. We enjoyed our two day stay very much. Good breakfast and the host Maria was very nice.
Maria and her husband are super welcoming and have a comfy home. I requested the room a bit last-minute for Labor Day weekend, but Maria was very nice about it and able to accommodate. We came to visit Carmel, Asilomar beach, Point Lobos and Big Sur. The house is tucked away deep in Salinas, but it's conveniently located near grocery stores and gas stations. The room and bed is comfortable and has a private bathroom which is a plus. Additionally, there's a thoughtful breakfast spread put out every morning like yogurt, english muffins, soymilk, coffee and several different jams.
Everything I was told by Maria was just as she said. Beautiful home. Very nice neighborhood. Unfortunately, Maria was not at the home during our stay but her house sitter was as nice and accommodating as can be. We definitely agree that he home is cozy & comfortable!
We reserved Maria's room the same day and she was very prompt in replying and confirming. The room was clean, spacious and quiet, and the bed very comfortable. We slept very well! Maria was a friendly and helpful host, and we were very appreciative of her accommodating our late evening arrival. The breakfast (cereal, granola, bananas, yogurt, orange juice) was a welcome extra. Highly recommended!
