Altura is a stylish one-bedroom apartment in the Arena complex, positioned right next to Newcastle Beach and moments from the harbour and CBD. Set at the rear of the building, Altura enjoys elevated city and harbour views while being just steps from the sand, ocean baths and coastal walks.

Light-filled and thoughtfully designed, Altura is an easy, comfortable base for a beach escape, city break or work stay, placing Newcastle’s coastline, harbour, cafes and city is right at your doorstep.

The space
Altura offers a calm, comfortable space in an unbeatable coastal-city location. Being right next to Newcastle Beach means early morning swims, coastal walks and ocean baths are just outside the door, while the harbour, cafes, restaurants and city centre are all within easy reach.

Inside, the open-plan layout allows the apartment to feel spacious and light, with large windows drawing in natural light and showcasing the city and harbour outlook.

The living area is designed for relaxing, with a comfortable lounge, smart TV and WiFi, all kept comfortable year-round with ducted air conditioning throughout. The adjoining dining area is ideal for casual meals or working from the apartment.

The kitchen is modern and well equipped, featuring a dishwasher, oven and fridge, making it easy to prepare anything from simple breakfasts to longer-stay meals. The bedroom is a peaceful retreat with a comfortable bed and thoughtful storage, while the contemporary bathroom includes a sleek shower and quality finishes.

The balcony provides a pleasant outdoor extension of the living space, offering an elevated urban outlook across the city and harbour, a great spot to unwind after a day at the beach.

Other Things to Note

There is no parking included with this apartment. Free all day parking is available a few minutes walk away on Watt Street or parking in front of the apartment is free overnight and part of the weekend. There is a paid parking garage on Bolton St just around the corner - Hunter Parking & Storage.

The building is currently undergoing external renovations. These works do not affect the apartment’s views, and there is no scaffolding over the windows or balcony. The builders will also be taking a break over the Christmas period with no work from 19th December to 5th January. From the 5th January onwards they will be recladding however there will still be no scaffolding or loss of view. Perfect for workers from the 5th Jan or guests that are flexible and will be out most days.

The laundry only has a washing machine, unfortunately the dryer does not work.

As Altura is located in a lively coastal-city area, there may be some ambient city noise at times.
