There is a local Sarlat tourist bus that runs during summer season
There are 3 other independent apartments at Maison Pierre D'Or , so guests are asked just to respect the privacy of other guests.
Lovely apartment 5-10 mins walk form the centre of Sarlat-Large supermarket 2 mins away.
Good size double bed and sofa bed in living room. Good kitchen and shower room/toilet. All white and clean
Parking available outside apartment. Would definately stay again.
Only downside was that the utility room is shared with the cleaning staff and so you suddenly find someone else is unexpectedly present (though they don't acutually come into the rest of the apartment). Useful to have access to a drying and wasking machine.

My husband and I fell in love with Sarlat and surrounding area when we visited many years ago.On one of our visits we came across a typical Sarlat stone house in a lovely position. The house had been split into 2 very large apartments so we decided to convert to 4 separate independent apartments. We could then use one apartment to spend time in the beautiful Dordogne, the others we would rent out for guests. We then set about having the property refurbished whilst at the same time trying to keep the original character and charm of the house.
Our goal, which we hope we have now achieved, was to offer guests a chic modern apartment with up to date facilities in a character stone house, typically somewhere we would love to stay ourselves.
