Nacogdoches, Texas, United States

We love that we are 2 miles from downtown and 4 miles or less from SFA! Yet we are in the country on 25 acres. Most of our neighbors are on acreage also.

I am a potter, painter and have recently taken up weaving. I have owned art galleries in Dallas, Ft. Worth, Nacogdoches and now Taos, NM and taught pottery for years. All of the homes are full of my own artwork along with collected art of national and international artists that I have known and represented. We are also collectors of Southwest art and antiques and we love to share our joy of collecting with our guests.
We will do whatever we possibly can to make certain that your getaway to Gus's Place or Clara's Cabin in Nacogdoches or Buffalo Moon in Taos, NM, is peaceful and relaxing. We seek to offer an unparalleled experience at each one of our spaces and the towns that they are in.

During your stay

We live 1/4 mile up a winding driveway high on a hill. We are gone a good bit and may or may not be at home when you arrive. BUT you will be WELL CARED FOR! You can reach me at a telephone number that this site will not give out if you need me. Be advised....I am not a mechanic, electrician, or carpenter (but I can usually locate them!). I am grandmother named KUKU who loves to have folks over to enjoy a leap back in time.....I will do whatever I can to make your stay memorable.
