  • Makoto San has very easygoing personality. She came and met me at the Heart-in convenience chain store inside the JR Nishikujo station. We walked about 10 min to her apt. while chatting. It's a cute 2 bedroom apt and the guest room has a balcony. Makoto recommend this local ikkyu 上方溫泉 to me. Using her info I was able to take the free bus there (10 min ride) and it was a very cozy place. I came back on the same bus to sleep. Makoto's husband is a chef at an Italian restaurant. He has his own hours. I woke up early to find a note on the kitchen table. I tried to write back in my poor Japanese :-) I enjoyed my stay. I used AirBnB before in France and Belgium before booked by my girlfriend. This was the first time I booked sth under my name. Makoto is a very kind and straightforward person which makes it very easy to communicate and her English is pretty good.

  • This was our favourite place to stay during our travels in Japan in April. Makoto is the best host I have ever met and was so friendly and helpful from the moment she met us at the subway station. She has loads of recommendations for the area (great takoyaki restaurant where we communicated with dictionaries and wild gestures) and draws cute little maps to help you find your way around. She is also happy to write down any useful phrases in Japanese that you can show to people if you get lost/want to order something. The apartment really is stunning, spacious but still very cosy. The private bedroom is perfect for two people with a comfy bed and tatami. The location is 10 minutes from Osaka station and if you have the JR pass you can get around for free to lots of places. Also you can ask Makoto to show you her pretty jewelry that she makes. We want to come back to Mog-Mog house soon.

  • Mako was a lovely host picking us up from the train station to ensure we knew our way to her place. Her apartment is 10 minutes walk from the station. Nishikujo station had good connections to other areas in Osaka on the JR loop line or on the subway. Makos apartment was clean and warm and the room is huge for Japan standards.

  • Makoto was a warm, helpful and friendly host and Mog Mog is a cute, spacious flat, with excellent transport links to both Minami and Osaka stations. (But if you're over 6 foot tall be prepared to stoop a little.) Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.

  • I had a pleasant stay at Mog Mog House! Makoto arranged for us to meet at the train station so she could show me the way to her apartment, and even helped me with my luggage because I had really too many. The apartment is about 10-15 minutes walk from Nishikujo station, and it is spacious, clean and cosy. I love Osaka, and the stay made it even better :)

  • Mako is very nice and friendly. She line out the rules from 1st day so it is clear for us.

Her room is nice and cosy. There is a balcony with a wooden table and a wooden chair. We can have day and night view from our balcony which is a bonus :) since I travel with my hubby, both of us sleep on the futon provided. Her room is large enough to accommodate both of us on the floor without occupying her bed when we were there.

We have no problem staying with her and her hubby. We enjoyed our stay and she is nice enough to lend us her kitchen to heat up our food bought from outside..

Will definitely stay with her again if I return to Osaka...

  • Makoto is such a sweet and helpful host. She showed us around her lovely place and guide us to Osaka's most interesting places.

We had a wonderful stay at Mog-Mog house. Spacious, cozy and peaceful, letting us spend our evening relax and recover form Osaka's immense experience during the day.

We will definitely stay at Mog-Mog house when we are visiting Osaka again.

  • Makoto was the most amazing host ever! She helped us with our luggage from the station, she made a hand-drawn map for us to navigate. She truly treated us like old friends or family. The apartment is also very nice with a great view of downtown and is located in a quiet area where you will be able to sleep well. Loved our time with them!

  • Makoto was an awesome host, we really enjoyed staying at her place ^o^
She took the time to explain her selfmade map and the rules at her apartment. We recommend the stay at her place and would love to visit her again one day.
    Thanks for everything!
