Carrie was so kind to wait for my wife and I at around 0am in the evening since our flight arrives at Taipei late. She was very friendly and easygoing, and she did not hesitate to help bringing the luggage inside the house even if I am a male. Since we have been frequently travelling to Taiwan we did not need too much introductions on roundabouts and sightseeing etc from Carrie. The good thing is that she quickly discovered that and made the introduction to us short and effective. I noticed many other guests left reviews saying that Carrie was able to chat a lot too but apparently in our case she provided us with maximum privacy. She did not appear anymore in the next three days for which we were staying but we can see that she went to the premise often and kept everything clean and tidy on a daily basis. I am very grateful for that.
The room itself is with moderate size, quite suitable for two people. I love the photos and artistic decorations in the room which would only be made by someone who is a designer. There is no television in the room or the common space but it does not matter. The WiFi is super fast. You can find all the necessary things including cons cleaner and body scrubs in the bathroom, very considerate. We shared the bathroom with the host (the other bigger room has a separate bathroom) but it is almost like we had the bathroom on our own. There are an audio player in the common space, and comfortable sofa chair, and there is a balcony of the room. Overall I like the atmosphere in the house.
The place is three minutes' walk from the MRT station and there are plenty of small restaurants and groceries nearby, my favorite. You can get traditional Chinese pancake with egg as breakfast on the street, or cold noodle with sesame paste. There is also a 7-11 nearby. I would highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to experience a local resident's life in Taipei.
BEhere is just like home. Neat and cozy. I stayed here for ten days. Convenient to public transit. Easy going host. I will recommend to my friends, and looking forward to next time to Taipei.
