Only 23 km from the airport in Tromsø. Built in 2007. Perfect conditions for watching aurora borealis because you are well away from the lights of the city. Many aurora guids bring guests to this area. If you are very lucky you can also watch killer whales (orcas) from the beach just below the cottage.

You can travel by bus but we recommend to rent a car. There are a small grocery shop in Kvaløyvågen, about 10 km from the cottage. You will find larger shops at Kvaløysletta in about 20 km distance.
