Interaction with Guests
This is the perfect place for the independent traveler who enjoys a quiet space. If you need advice about what to do while staying I'll be happy to share my Tromsø favourites, so you can enjoy our city and it's surroundings as much as I do! Weekdays I usually work long days on a somewhat flexible schedule. If I'm relaxing at home I like to enjoy a quiet evening with my knitting, some music and a cup of tea or glass of wine :)

From Jun 1 - Aug 31, 2015 the minimum stay is 2 nights.
I planned Tromsø in hope to catch Northern lights. And later was planning to travel south via bus.
Ragni helped me extensively to set my itinerary and based on her suggestions I ended up taking Hurtigruten fjord ferry. That was life time experience.
Ragni helped to sort out some last minute excursions which was really helpful. Ragni also recommended microbrewery which has huge collection of unique and tasty beers.
Ragni's home is perfectly situated. Direction to home from airport was very clear and straightforward I found her home without any hassle.
Room is cozy and welcoming. Very clean and tidy.
She has prepared envelope with notes when I arrived.
Views from living room and bedroom are just fabulous.
Highly recommended place for both summer and winter.
Ragni is a great host. the apartment is pretty with beautiful scenery! the room is very cosy.. though the balcony was too cold for us to stay out this period but I had enjoyed the morning view. Ragni is also very informative and helpful! she shared her recommendations and advices on our trip! I miss the knitted comfy guest slippers that she provide for the guests! perfect homestay!
The apartment was so cosy, the views really astonishing and our stay there was just perfect, even more than we expected. Ragni is very nice, at every moment we felt as if we were at home. Everything helped to make our stay in Tromsø an unforgettable experience. Thank you Ragni!
Ragni is a great host and prepared everything even she was not at home when I arrived.
Her house is beautiful and the view from the balcony is very nice. I saw the northen lights on the balcony during my stay. It was so amazing!
A 5 min bus ride from Tromso city centre plus a short walk would get you Ragni's home. It is not difficult to find your way.
To conclude, I enjoyed my stay at Ragni's home!
Lovely apartment overlocking Tromsø! Great host who helped me finding out stuff about things to do in town, and how to get to different locations. If you have the possibility to go to Tromsø, I strongly recommend a stay at Ragnis apartment.
Ragni was a great host! The communication with her started before my trip, and thanks to her I was able to make some adjustments that made my trip to Tromso more pleasant. Ragni is very friendly and accommodating and from the moment you walk into the house she makes you feel welcome. The house is located in a well communicated area. You can take a bus from a nearby bus-stop to the town-center which takes you around 15-20 minutes, or you can just walk as it is a pleasant walk despite the ice (as long as you wear spikes). Tromso is a beautiful city and definitely worth visiting. If you are going there to chase the Aurora, hire one of the many guided trips available (this was Ragni’s suggestion by the way and it worked out great for me).
I cannot thank Ragni enough for making my visit to Tromso a great experience.

About the Host, Ragni
I'm a marine biologist who shares her time between the sea - either for for work or on trips with my kayak - and the urban land life of our little big city Tromsø.
I enjoy seing my part of the world through the eyes of my guests, and having the world come to me when I'm not traveling myself. Learning languages are a big part of traveling for me, and I'd love to learn a word or two of yours!
