This amazing panoramic view of the city, the harbour, and the mountains is unique even to Tromsø! In the hillside above town, the old Scandinan style house is placed in a quiet location with minimal traffic. It will offer a good nights sleep after exploring the area wether you've been hiking around the nearby lake, done a pub crawl, cruised the fjords, or just enjoyed the Tromsø life passing by in one of our many cafes and bistros. The apartment is airy and open, with spectacular views and lots of natural light. If you are lucky you can even see the Midnight Sun or the Northern Lights from your deck before you go to bed!
Listing is for one bedroom with exit to its own private roof deck. Your room has a queen size bed, electric heater, full length mirror, and blackout curtains for the Midnight Sun. Guests will also have free access to a downstairs shared bathroom with shower, WC, and hairdryer. Washing machine is also available.

Interaction with Guests
This is the perfect place for the independent traveler who enjoys a quiet space. If you need advice about what to do while staying I'll be happy to share my Tromsø favourites, so you can enjoy our city and it's surroundings as much as I do! Weekdays I usually work long days on a somewhat flexible schedule. If I'm relaxing at home I like to enjoy a quiet evening with my knitting, some music and a cup of tea or glass of wine :)

Be nice! :)
We had such a wonderful time staying with Ragni. Her home has a beautiful view of the city and is a convenient 20 minute walk into town on the snowy, narrow streets of Tromso. The room is cozy and warm, the shower is hot and the bed is so comfortable. Ragni was also a great host. She was so welcoming to us, and gladly recommended breakfast cafes and a lookout to catch the northern lights. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Tromso!
What à place ! What a city !What a host ! What a country .....
There is no more to say ...
Ragni was the most amazing host, before and during our stay~ She was always quick to respond to our many questions and even give us information before we thought to ask for it. When our arrival was delayed due to issues with our flights, she smoothly arranged for an alternative check-in situation despite not being home herself. Her place is truly adorable, cozy, warm, and welcoming; could not have asked for a more comfortable place, so far from our own home. She even had knit slippers for us to wear when lounging around! Ragni is a super-prepared host, with printed information about her home and her favorite local spots, as well as brochures and maps from the city's visitor center. She is also kind and patient, and really easy to sit and chat with. Thank you soooo much for your hospitality, Ragni!! If we are ever in the area again, we will most definitely be looking you up :]
Ragni was a great hostess, she help a lot even before I booked, as I was a newcomer to Airbnb.
Prior to booking and departure, she helped with information regarding the nature of my trip i.e to photograph the Northern Lights.
It was the main purpose for my trip, and I didn't want to get the logistics wrong from the start.
Up on arrival to airport it was only a 15 minute taxi ride to the apartment, where Ragni was there to great me and welcome me to Norway and my new abode for the next 5 nights.
After settling in (7pm) Ragni proceeded to make my trip as successful as possible, so we discussed my various options re trips and tours etc.
Ragni explained to the travel system and where to buy a travel a card, and things like food shopping and the likes.
My room was very cosy, clean and warm, the apartment was for me to use as well i.e kitchen, living room.
Marks out of 10, defiantly a 10
A perfect host!
Thank you so much for everything.
The room was nice and warm, the bed great and we had the best sleep of our vacation in her house.
Ragni just is a great host, we were welcome from the first minute and it was great to sit together with her an chat about Tromsø, Norway or the Ocean around.
If you are around, we just could recommend to ask her if her room is available. We'll definitely will, if we enjoy the summer version of our tour.
Staying with Ragni was so fantastic... I'm grateful I was able to stay with her. I was only in Tromso for one night, but she sent me great directions before I arrived and left the keys and all other information easily accessible to me. I was extremely fortunate with the weather and saw a fantastic show of the northern lights from the porch. The next morning it was really nice to sit and have coffee with Ragni and she gave me a perfect suggestion to take the cable car before I flew out in the afternoon. The weather was pretty cold, and I don't think I actually saw the sun while I was there, but thanks to Ragni's kindness I left feeling warm and full of light.

I'm a marine biologist who shares her time between the sea - either for for work or on trips with my kayak - and the urban land life of our little big city Tromsø.
I enjoy seing my part of the world through the eyes of my guests, and having the world come to me when I'm not traveling myself. Learning languages are a big part of traveling for me, and I'd love to learn a word or two of yours!
