This is such a wonderful place to stay for a holiday. I would highly recommend it! And we will definitely be staying there again next time we are in Bali, without a doubt.
From the very start, Sari arranged things so that her highly professional and friendly staff were there catering to our every need. The price includes pickup from the airport, so even though we landed at 10.30pm, her driver was there waiting. And at the house, two of the house assistants were there waiting to greet us and show us around the house, giving us tips on how to use the Apple TV, and making sure we had everything we needed.
From the first step into the garden, the beautiful pool lit turquoise, the garden immaculate, and the bifold doors open to the lounge room, we were delighted by the house. It was very comfortable for the three of us, and could easily accommodate five or six. Every bedroom has an air conditioner, as well as the main room. A driver is available at all times to take you around, in a high quality air conditioned van, as per prior arrangement.
Lovely art adorns the walls, and the house is super clean. There is a water cooler there, and at my request, they had bought a few specific groceries, so we had everything we needed on arrival. The beds were very comfortable, with mosquito nets around them all (though the one for the main bedroom wasn't perfectly sealed - though this wasn't a problem at the time we visited as there were hardly any mosquitoes around at all.
Access to the beach is very easy, a few steps away. You walk through the carpark that is behind the beach restaurants, and either walk through the restaurants (apparently the owners are all fine with this, and indeed everyone was very friendly as we walked through), or you can go a few steps further and find a walkway between buildings around the corner.
The beach is gorgeous (even nicer than I expected - though some waves can be quite powerful, so kids might need to be supervised), and for $10 you can hire two sunlounges under a market umbrella in front of one of the cafes, with the waves literally lapping at your feet, and spend the whole day there if you wish. You can hire a boogie board for $3, and order food and drinks from the cafe. Bliss!!
