My place is in Stebleva, the national park, Parku Nacional Shebenik-Jabllanice. Great hiking, mountain- biking. Stunning mountain & valley. Very quiet and secluded. Plenty of wildlife. Fresh air and warm hosts. Freshly made food with locally grown ingredients. I will be bappy to guide any walking tours or drive around to guide the area for a small fee. Very comfortable beds, fully functioning kitchen. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and pets.

The space
This cozy chalet is adorable at all times, but especially in the evening after a long hike, when you can put the wood fire place on and chill over a cup of locally grown tea or some wine. The host, was born and grew up in this historic village, bordering Macedonia, which is now largely abandoned by its inhabitants who mostly use it as a vacation base. The village history claims the place of birth to the grandparents of Qemal Ataturk, the ruler of modern Turkey. It also has ruins of monasteries, churches at above 1800 altitude from the many people and armies that went past it over its very long history; Turks, Bulgarians, Macedonians and Serbs. The villagers speak both Albanian and old Bulgarian and have always lived in harmony between the two main religions of Orthodox Christians and Islam.
