Extra spacious

Guests love this home’s spaciousness for a comfortable stay.
This small 128 sq ft tiny house is packed with charm. Situated on a serene 5 acre wooded property, its a short drive to Hillsborough (10 min), Chapel Hill (15) and Durham (15).

I wanted to create a space where guests can take time to rest and reset. The house is cozy, stylish, and surprisingly spacious. Its well appointed with all the amenities to feel like home. Take a step outside and you'll be surrounded by old hardwood trees and the soothing sounds of nature that make life here so peaceful

The space
**Pet fee: There is a $20/pet fee for the first night, and then $15/per pet for additional nights (sorry, no cats!). Please add your dog when creating the reservation, and a request for any additional nights/dogs will be sent through Airbnb. Dogs are not allowed in/on the bed.

**Early check in/late check out: An earlier check in or a later check out might be able to be accommodated for an extra fee ranging from $15-25 depending on how early or late the check in/check out. Please let me know if you need this and we can sort out the details

To create a tiny house that has all the functionality of a normal house requires careful design. We utilized all 128 square feet to create an awesome little tiny home that's elegant in both form and function.

The house contains a few distinct 'rooms'. The first space when you enter the house is the living room, where you can relax and watch movies and TV on the Roku-equipped TV on the opposite wall. Guests can enjoy the growing book and movie collection shelved above the TV.

Built into the back wall is a large bay window with a built in desk that offers a perfect work space (we have super fast fiber internet).

Walking towards the back of the house, you'll enter into the kitchen. I do my best to provide guests with everything they would need to prepare meals. The kitchen is equipped with induction cooktops, convection oven, blender, food processor, quality pots and pans, new knives, and utensils. A large collection of spices and oils are also at your disposal. For coffee lovers, a Cuisinart coffee maker and Krups espresso machine help you to prepare a quality cup of your liking. Guests can grab from a basket containing a variety of gourmet snacks. We’ve also stocked the fridge with condiments, almond milk, creamer, butter, jam, etc :)

Across from the the kitchen is the bathroom. The shower has plenty of hot water and good pressure. The toilet is a normal flush toilet. A variety of quality toiletries is provided for guests, as well as a hair dryer and soft, plush towels.

Up the sliding ladder is the delightfully cozy lofted bedroom. You'll feel like you're tucked away in your own little world. A couple of floor lanterns provide warm lighting, and you can open the small window in the loft to let in fresh air and the sounds of nature. The bed is a thick, comfy queen sized foam mattress

In the evenings, strings of patio lights create a warm and romantic ambience. Relax on the deck or enjoy the firepit closeby (firewood provided)

I have almost 4 years of experience with Airbnb as a Superhost and take pride in being the best host possible. Whether you come for the experience of staying in a tiny house, a romantic getaway, or just for a cozy place to lay your head, I'll do my best to make sure you have a perfect stay. Everyone is welcome here :)

***NO SMOKING: Smoking of any sort inside the house is not allowed and if any smoke odor is detected guests will be charged a $150 cleaning fee to mitigate the smell. Guests may smoke outside on the patio.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to use the firepit and walk around the land (there are other houses on the property, so just be respectful of others' privacy)

Other things to note
This property includes a steep, library-style ladder with a handrail that provides access to the bedroom loft. Despite the presence of a handrail, the ladder requires good balance, strength, coordination, and the use of hands and feet.

-Not suitable for children, elderly guests, or anyone with mobility, balance, or strength limitations
-Guests must use caution at all times when ascending or descending
-Always maintain three points of contact and use the handrail
-Do not climb while tired, impaired, barefoot, or while carrying items
-Descend facing the ladder

Use of the ladder is at the guest’s own risk. By booking and staying at this property, guests acknowledge the presence of the ladder and assume all risks associated with its use.
