The Loft was the perfect spot for our family of 4. We had plenty of space. We were perfect walking distance to the main square, approx 10 mins. We were away from all the traffic but still felt like we were experiencing life in San Miguel. Gabriel was great at responding quickly to emails and had great tips for food, etc. This is a great place for families with children who require more than restaurant food and need rest during the day. The patios were lovely and relaxing as well. It definitely felt like home away from home.

The loft is in a great walking location to downtown. We really liked having a garage as we did a lot of excursions from the loft with our rental car. A remote for the garage door would be helpful. The location is on the edge of downtown which is optimal for coming and going. Be sure to bring a pool towel to take to the hot springs...Escondido is our favorite, lunch at Nirvana Resort nearby. The kitchen seemed well-equipped though we did not use it. Hope to return soon and would stay here again!

Location, space, and comfort, qualities this host provides in San Miguel De Allende. 5 minute walk to the market, 10 minutes to the heart of downtown, and great views from the rooftop. I would highly recommend this spot for larger groups between 4-8 people.

The loft is certainly modern, spacious and well-located. The main downside during our stay was that the two fireplaces (one in the main living room and one in the bedroom where we slept) were not working, and the temperatures in February dipped into the low 40s/upper 30s. Since the flooring is all concrete, this made for very chilly, somewhat uncomfortable evenings and early mornings. Please make sure the fireplaces are working for the cold months or, alternatively, supply extra warm blankets for guests to use. We did get one fireplace to work briefly, only for debris (newspaper and other flammable items) to fall from the top of it, so we shut it off for fear of starting a fire. Someone came to remove the debris the last morning we were there, but didn't fix or explain the fireplace any better. The shower instructions were a bit tricky to get used to, and it would be helpful here also to have extra towels or rugs to prevented slipping on the concrete when stepping out of the shower with wet feet. Otherwise, it's a great location, cool space, and Gabriel was mostly responsive to our needs. However, for the price, I would likely seek out other accommodations next time I visit SMA.

Response from Gabriel:
Appreciated Marcus, everything is working at home: if you don't know how to make gas fireplaces work please let us know and we'll go quickly to show you. There are rugs in the showers, but if you need extra towels (we gave you 9 for 3 person) please let us know. We're all time available to help you, but if you don't communicate them it's difficult to help. Anyway sorry for the inconveniences.
