I can only recommend staying at Faye's place - the room is great and huge, close enough to Kenmare 'downtown' to walk over and far enough to be quiet and give you the feeling of staying in the countryside. Faye makes a huge effort to make people feel at home and takes care of all the little details: great recommendations on where to go, whatever you like for breakfast, freshly squeezed orange juice and amazing fresh homemade bread. It was a great weekend staying there and we'll likely be back in the future!
Faye is a wonderful and caring host! We loved her house! The room was big and perfectly clean and the irish breakfast was simply fabulous. We definitely come back!
We stayed at Faye's place for 5 nights and had a great stay. She is an awesome host and we felt very welcome! She took very good care of us :) and also cooked breakfast for us. The guest room is big with a nice en suite bathroom and the bed is really comfortable. Everything was spotless and clean. There is enough space for two people, also to rest there a while when it's bad weather.
Her place is only 10 minutes walking from the village centre and easy to walk. Kenmare is a very cute village with great restaurants.
Thank you Faye for everything!
Faye was an excellent host. She made us feel very welcome when we first arrived after booking with her the night before due to unforeseen circumstances. Letting us check in early and offering us tea and snacks when we first arrived. The room was bright and airy, the ensuite was clean and she gave us fresh towels and a water pitcher for our room. She even cooked us a full Irish breakfast both mornings we stayed with her and when we would come back from our days of walking around town she would again offer us tea and chat with us about our day.
On our last day she was even able to drive us into town to the bus stop with all our luggage.
Overall our stay was very enjoyable and we would love to stay with Faye again.
Great stay had in Kenmore, Faye is a terrific host, lovely and hospitable making one feel right at home. Nice, spacious and clean ensuite room, comfy bed and breakfast fantastic. Lovely short walk over to the town and no hesitation in recommending. Mike
Faye was utterly kind and welcoming, her home was lovely and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the location is wonderful.
It's a lovely 10-15 minute walk to Kenmare's center, but if you choose to drive in, parking was easy enough to find.
We stayed here for two nights, and used it as a home base to explore the Ring Of Kerry.
Accueil chaleureux et sympathique, Faye est attentionnée et se rend disponible pour recevoir au mieux ses hôtes en plus de ses obligations familiales. logement agréable et breakfast parfait .
