Faye made me feel extremely welcome. The room was just like the photograph with plenty of hot water and the breakfast was lovely. Really enjoyed my stay and would def recommend it.
Faye is great, the room is perfect and the breakfast delicious.
Thank you for this wonderful stay.
Faye was a very friendly and welcoming host, we got a cup of tea and homemade cookies just after our arrival and she did everything to make us feel comfortable at her place! Great, huge shower (real pleasure after all the quite small electric ones we have had so far) and a fabulous breakfast with freshly sqeezed orange juice! Very nice place to stay, thanks a lot
Faye and her family were incredibly welcoming and hospitable, and their double bedroom with en-suite bathroom was comfortable and very much appreciated. It was a delight to become part of a rich and wholesome Irish family life, even though it was only for a day or so.
Faye was a great host. Very prompt with replying to messages. We arrived quite late in the evening but Faye didn't mind and greeted us with tea and cake - amazing after a long journey to get there! The room was very spacious with an en suite and comfy bed. Faye offered us full Irish breakfast both mornings. Whatever you choose for breakfast will be accompanied with freshly squeezed orange juice and yummy home baked brown bread. The standard of breakfast is better than some b&bs you could stay in. The house is in a countryside setting but is an easy 10 minute walk along a footpath into Kenmare. It was perfectly situated for the Lost Sheep triathlon, which was the reason we were there for the weekend. I'd recommend Faye as a host and would stay again if we were in the area.
The place is not in Kenmare but you can reach the city by foot in about 15min. The room itself is quite nice - simple, large, spotless and great for a night's stay. At breakfast, Faye served the most amazing soda bread I have ever had (among other things). She was nice enough to give me the recipe, handed down from her mother Hanna - thanks Faye!
