Stay in luxury at the "first skyscraper to be built in New Orleans." The building was built in 1889.
It sits one block from Bourbon and Canal St. Canal St. is what separates the Central Business District from the French Quarter. You would truly be at the center of it all.
-king sized bed
-large L shaped couch
-flat screen tv
On the roof there is a heated pool, electric grill, fitness room, and sauna.
Feel free to cook and utilize the kitchen. Sorry but I don't have a stock of food, spices, herbs, etc. Not yet anyway. The only thing I really have is salt and pepper, and the shakers to go with it.
All the doormen are extremely friendly and helpful. Any questions you have about restaurants, shopping, etc. they will gladly answer.
You will need to bring your own soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. unless a special request is made. I do provide hand soap, laundry soap, dish soap, counter top spray, and dryer sheets.
The kitchen is fully furnished aside from the spice/herb issue as far as appliances and cookware is concerned, dishes, cups etc.
This apt. is perfect for a couple, small family, or solo on business. Air mattress is available upon request.
There are a couple of bikes in the lobby that belong to the building that you may use.
Checkout is noon. Check-in is 4pm. Strict, no exceptions. Once in a while I can let guests in at 2 or 3 because I've finished cleaning early.
Clean up any large messes, no shoes on the carpet, and if you break it, you buy it.

Exceptionally well maintained studio, close to all. Darrin was accommodating, doormen were friendly and helpful. Great stay, highly recommended!
Absolutely great flat in the perfect location. We def stay there again, next time we visit NOLA. Thanks Darin.
Just as advertised with excellent location, cleanliness and well-equipped kitchen. Great communication with the host. As other reviewers have pointed out, the sounds from the street can be disturbing and light sleepers are advised to bring ear plugs. If you can live with that (we did), this place is highly recommended and we won't hesitate to book again!
Stylish, clean & comfortable. Great location, one block from the Quarter with public transportation steps away. Very spacious and a great value when compared to nearby hotel rooms.
The apartment on Common Street was clean and comfortable. It is conveniently located near the French Quarter, the Warehouse District and a lot of fantastic restaurants. It is, as other reviewers have noted, a bit noisy, but with some ear plugs and the white noise apps on our phones, it was fine. A nice alternative to a regular hotel room.
great apartment- yes, heed the noise warnings. the neighborhood is loud. I didn't meet Darin but everything worked out seamlessly and the doormen were very friendly.
The location is great if you like being in the center of it all. That said, the noise level was more than we anticipated. Even though the condo is eight floors up, it was above the street car line. Make sure to bring ear plugs to sleep at night if you don't like late night sounds of revelers coming home after 2 am.
Darin's place was clean, spacious, and had minimal furnishings which we liked. The coffee table had informative magazines about the city and what to do. A big comfy sectional in the living room was perfect. We loved the loft layout and kitchen and the doormen were very helpful and friendly.
This was a really nice place to stay. It is clean, comfortable and very conveniently located. Darin was helpful, as were the door personnel. We really enjoyed our time in New Orleans and highly recommend Darin's apartment!
Incredible location and very comfortable apartment. It can get a bit loud due to the passing trolley, but the noise was manageable.
Everything went well.
