Delia is a wonderful host! I felt welcome and comfortable immediately. I arrived very early in the morning, and Delia was happy to make arrangements to allow me to check-in at that time. She was very friendly and a joy to talk to! Her home is very warm and welcoming; she has thought of all the details to make the stay convenient and comfortable. Her house is very close to the University and near 280 and 94. There is plenty of parking on the street. I would most definitely stay here again. Thanks so much, Delia!
We had a wonderful time at Delia’s. Debby and I have stayed in quite a few Airbnb’s in the last couple of years and can say that our experience at Delia’s was one of the very best. Her home was warm, comfortable, and sharing. The location was excellent, close to the Mississippi, downtown Minneapolis, the Univ. of MN, the Univ. of MN - St Paul, the Univ. of St Thomas (where I was competing in track events at the National Senior Games). The neighborhood is beautiful with a great park for walking just 2 blocks away.
Delia was helpful, friendly, and personable. She helped us with places to eat, places to exercise and explore. She and we shared life experiences. When we left after 5 days, it was like leaving a good friend, wanting to stay longer, wanting to stay “in touch”. We miss being at Delia’s, being with Delia, and hope that circumstances will allow us to return.
I had a great stay at Delia's home. I was really busy with a conference that I was attending, so it was primarily my place to come "home" to and get a good night's sleep. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was welcoming. I loved having the pets around too. Delia was a fabulous host, the sort of person I think I would really enjoy sitting down and talking with more. The Minneapolis public transportation was very clear and easy to use. It was about a 40 minute commute (by public transit) to the convention center which was very manageable for me. Just the place I needed for this trip! Thanks, Delia!
I was very happy that I could stay with Delia. From the first moment I arrived I felt at home in her house. She took me around the first day and showed me the neighborhood and even borrowed me warm clothes to survive in cold Minnesota winter - Besides that the room was comfortable and the neighborhood super save, so I could come home in the middle of the night without having to worry.
I would defiantly stay there again if I came back to St. Paul.
I had a great time staying with Delia. The house is beautiful, Delia and my housemates are all great people and conversationalists, and the location is the perfect balance of quiet and accessible. This is a great place to stay if you want to see the cities or if you're staying longer!
Although I stayed only one night, it was a really enjoyable experience! Delia is such a cool person, very energetic, fun, knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. The house is beautiful and the room I was staying in was wonderful! Very spacious and clean bathroom, super comfortable bed and a walk-in closet. The neighborhood is very green, quiet and pretty. The house is very close to the bus stop (maybe 2-3 minute walk) and the bus can take you anywhere you need. Definitely recommend to stay here!!
